The hotel was lovely and the staff very helpful. The hotel was conveniently located and we walked everywhere. Highly recommend.

It was a great little family-owned hotel. The owners were extremely gracious and welcoming and outdid themselves during our stay. And since it's just a little over 70 miles from Dijon, where we live, we may well go back during the holiday season.

Vet nice hotel situated in a very tranquil area. Beautiful garden with pool. Even though the hotel might not be top notch interior it is vey nice, good personal service and clean rooms. Nice breakfast in the garden is included and a must.

The check-in was quick and smooth. There is private parking area next to the entrance, which can get full when it’s a peak season and property is fully booked. Nice garden has large number of tables and chairs, which are used for the morning breakfast, but can’t be used in the evening to have a snack, only for wine and cheese. Pool has large number of loungers, which honestly need replacing, for they are very used and uncomfortably stretched. The standard double room is quite small and has no refrigerator , although there is a cabinet for it. Room is in need of renovation, which will occur in September. Air Conditioner works great, which is awesome when it’s over 32deg outside. Short walk to town, convenient location of the hotel.

Lovely friendly staff run a quaint hotel at very reasonable cost. Can easily walk into the old town of Auxerre which is like a dream. If we come to the area again we will stay here.

Beautiful old house. Nice clean room and good bed. Shower a bit tricky. Easy walk to town center and restaurants.

We are really happy with the accommodation provided. Élégant room decor from the Napoléon era period. We got a welcoming arrival by the reception and was so helpful in an issue I had which has been resolved prompt. Used the hotel pool in their garden area. Enjoyed a great breakfast too. Strong WiFi signal and free parking. We have a memorable stay.

This is a charming hotel which has been acquired fairly recently by the owners on which they are clearly working very hard to make a perfect place to stay. Free on site parking is a real bonus. Our room had been recently decorated. The bathroom had both a bath and a shower. Super aircon too! We even had a few english television channels! In reception, there is a water dispenser where you can fill your water bottle with chilled sparkling or still water whenever you wish - we thought this was a really thoughtful gesture , particularly as it was so hot at the time of our visit. The staff are friendly and attentive. We particularly enjoyed meeting the african grey parrot. Highly recommended hotel, would stay there again if we were visiting.

If six stars were available , I would happily give that rating! This lovely mansion has been transformed into an elegant hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with great amenities. Breakfast is great and served either outdoors on the patio or in the lovely dining room. There is a cocky grey parrot who appears in the morning, however he would not deign to talk with me. The best thing about the hotel is their manager and staff. Courteous, friendly and enthusiastic about making sure the hotel service is extra special! We will stay here again!
