The hotel, retail space and parking garage have been under construction for 3+ years, so the environment is dusty and only partially functional. The lobby is sparsely appointed and unwelcoming. A few cars can be parked in the dirt lot outside the hotel, but most must be unloaded and then valeted to another location, up a hill. Only one of the 3 elevators works, and it went down repeatedly during our stay. We were briefly stuck in the elevator at lobby level, and then had to walk up to our 10th floor room, at midnight. The next morning firemen came to free additional stuck people from the elevator. According to staff, this happens repeatedly and "the owners have known about it for months." The registration staff was apologetic and offered compensation (when asked), but overall the stay was a nightmare. Small things - the shower temperature control just spins, not settling on a temperature; the toaster in the breakfast area sticks and just burns toast. Bathrooms are thoughtlessly designed - so small that you can hardly shut the door without hitting the toilet, and in a handicap accessible room, the shower chair is attached on one wall but soap products are on the far wall and can't be reached, and no grab bars are located anywhere near where you would need them. Do not recommend!
