Wonderful Villa with famous history,The staff very welcome and very helpful,Very delicious food from super chef Paulo in their restaurant . Amazing garden with dancing fountain.

The environment of the hotel was very pleasant. There were not many guests and the large garden was impressive, but it was uncomfortable that it was located somewhat far from the city. Breakfast was very common and not impressive, but the kindness of the hotel staff left a very good impression.

Amazing and one of the best hotels we have stayed in. It is old splendour with hospitality that cannot be beaten, the staff were so friendly, polite, helpful and expert. We paid last minute and got a deal which was comparable with the air B&B we had stayed in and was much more luxurious. The pool was great, the vast gardens a welcome respite from a busy, noisy city and the food fabulous. The chef cooked amazing food and whilst the eve meal was a little more pricey at around 120 euros for three courses and a couple of glasses of wine it was worth it. Breakfast was huge and included in the price. Not only do I highly rate this hotel, I would return just for the hotel. Go if you want a bit of old fashioned grandeur and to be treated like royalty.

A magnificient building as a setting for a lovely boutique hotel. We had a superior room which was actually a suite with a large lounge, separate bedroom and a bathroom. The room overlooked the garden and the pool and was very comfortable. I don't understand the negative reviews about the staff as everyone we spoke to was very firendly and helpful. As the building is a old and has a relatively small number of rooms you do get the occassional glitch but every time the staff were very helpful in finding solutions. The restaurant is good value and serves good Siciiian food to a high standard in a wonderful setting. Within the grounds is a large founntain and a superb display of lights, music and water is available in the evening on request. We used the spa and it was lovely to have exclusinve use of the pool, shower and steam room.. The hotel is located around 5km from Mondello beach and from Palermo so we used taxis, Uber and the hotel shuttle service to get about.

The historic Villa del Gattopardo is a magical delight. Recently restored to its former glory, it is an oasis of calm, beauty, and history. In other words, this place is a true wonder! From the outstandingly kind and helpful staff (thank you, Emanuela and Joshua), to the gorgeously appointed rooms and grounds to the scrumptious breakfasts and dinners, everything made us feel like royalty. The fact that Tommasi de Lampedusa wrote his famous novel The Leopard (now a Netflix series) there was an added bonus. Cannot recommend any higher and would love to return! A place of pure delight!

Magnificent experience at the lounge bar!We stopped by the lounge bar at Villa del Gattopardo for drinks, and it was absolutely magnificent. Alejandro, our bar attendant, served us the absolute best Negroni we have had in Palermo so far! Beyond the incredible drinks, Alejandro was exceptionally hospitable and deeply passionate about the history and beauty of the Villa. His excellent service made our visit truly memorable. The historic atmosphere combined with top-tier hospitality makes this a must-visit spot. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property, very clean rooms breakfast and dinner was excellent. Relaxed and enjoyed drinks by the pool . The staff was very professional and attentive to our needs. The perfect ending to our 2 weeks in Italy and the owner Tommaso is very friendly continued success on your Villa.
