The place was clean but the problem was that they don’t have any fans on when the rooms don’t have guests. It’s a very humid area and inside the room it gets damp which make things smell. Especially so with the bedsheets, pillows and quilt. The smell was so intense so I couldn’t sleep in the bed.

This hotel is very much in the jungle and has spacious rooms close to Ella town. The staff are very helpful

Вид с балкона на джунгли, можно наблюдать, как по деревьям прыгают обезьянки.
В моей комнате было грязно, ремонт позапрошлого века.
Хозяин отеля дружелюбный, приветливый.
Но он строит ещё один дом, поэтому под окнами стройка, шум, сверление с 8ми утра и до 8ми вечера.

Best okay, behoorlijk groen (maar beperkt zicht) en kamer redelijk. Wel wat dicht op elkaar gepakt. Eigenaar vriendelijk en doet goed zijn best. Idd, aardig dicht bij het centrum.

нормальный отель, если вы планируете оставаться на пару дней. В номере не было душевых принадлежностей и кондиционера, вокруг комнаты идет ремонт, шума мы не услышали, но выглядит не очень красиво. Нет парковки, ночью сломали звонок на байке. Мебель не очень новая. Лучше бронировать в Элле что-то заранее на лето, либо ехать в другой регион, ужасно много туристов.

Not good value. You can get better for the price.
It was ok. Yet the owner was building a new hotel below my balcony, so it was a good thing both days I was out exploring the sites or a daytrip all day.
It also had internet that was never good enough for some things but ok for email, etc. Yet this died on my second night. I was there for 2 nights and they didn't replace my water or tea. Yet probably would have, had I asked. Tepid water in a fairly cold town in the mountains and the scratchiest towels ever. I just expected a bit more compared to others for the price.

This year, I have slept on multiple beds in multiple countries. Colombia, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Jordan, Sri Lanka, and Ella Green Cottages had the best mattress I've had all year. My first night at Ella Green Cottages was literally the best night of sleep that I had in months.
Also, whenever I needed anything, the employees immediately stopped doing whatever they were doing and saw to my needs. Best customer service I experienced in the country.
