My family and another stayed in two bungalows in the campsite located right beside the pool. Money and jewellery were stolen from our locked accommodation while we popped out for 20-30mins. So it was clearly someone with access to keys that entered our accommodation. My friends staying next door had battery packs stolen. We reported it but were told we would have to go to the police and report it ourselves. They were not very concerned that they have staff that are thieves and were not very sympathetic. Evening entertainment was fine for younger kids under 8 but anyone older than that would be bored there. I will not be returning to this accommodation which is a pity as the location is beautiful. Very disappointed in our very expensive trip away.

Booked direct, travelled with a 2.5 year old. We flew into Verona which had a long wait for passport control. It seems to be their system is very slow! Grabbed a taxi outside airport to site which was easy. There was also quite a big queue checking in at the site. We stayed in a girasole mobile home which was a little outdated but fine for us 3 as we didn’t spend loads of time there. Brilliant aircon which was much needed. Most of our time was spent at the pools. Plenty of pools to choose from. However the main one, we found difficult to get a sunbed and often only found the odd one so had to share between 3 of us. Brilliant choice of slides for all different ages. Most pools seemed clean but there was one that didn’t. It had lots of dirt and things floating around. Good choice of restaurants which we enjoyed. Some of the take aways we didn’t enjoy so much but you can have a 10/15 min walk along the lake where you come to more restaurants with plenty of choice. The view of the lake is beautiful and it’s lovely to be so close. The on site supermarket is good but we needed to walk to Lidl to get our meat and a few other essentials. This is about 15/20 min walk down the main road. Lots to do in the evening for us, they have little amusement parks on site which my toddler really enjoyed.

The Eurocamp section very dated and tired no grass to kick a ball around any where on site which is suprising for italy, Restaurants very good food all around very good good gluten free options also, Pools and toilets immaculate, entertainment very good every evening,

Pool areas- really crazy busy and filthy. Beer cans, plasters empty bottles, cigarette butts, rubbish, weeds growing up through the pavement. Don't know how they leave it like this. Accommodation with Roan is excellent, we booked a compact cabin and it is indeed compact but nothing that we weren't expecting. Superb Roan staff as usual. Communication is poor with the campsite app not giving enough information about activities. The entertainment for kids is terrible. Very few attendees again considering the number of people onsite.. have they got the hint yet? The sports facilities are very few and far between considering the number of people. Extra charges for some activities. The shops and bars e plentiful. No air con in the restaurants The location is spectacular but really there has to be a better standard, particularly by the pool. Very disappointed. Time to clean up. To compare, this campsite does not come close to the standard of campsite in France. Won't be returning. This c

Positives: Location right on lake, short walk to nearest town with on site train to take you there. Cabin with HU Openair was very nice, stayed in Excellence model, although grounds around cabin not as well kept as in other sites that we’ve stayed in. Negatives: Pool very busy even before peak school holidays. Sun bed wars were really horrible. We got up and placed our towels after opening time, avoiding the crazy rush. We walked to the on site pool bar for breakfast, while eldest played in water in front of us, gone max 30 mins for coffee and came back to our beds gone. This happened to us twice. Second time we witnessed a group of 8 literally lifting them off and throwing them on a pile on ground and tried to blame pool boy. Check in queue was very long. Place was too manic for us, I think in future I’m going for a smaller calmer camp.

We rented an Eco Tent with Eurocamp at Bella Italia. The reality? Absolutely not what was advertised. No toilet. No running water. We only found that out after paying and completing the booking. No option to change accommodation. Not fair at all. The tent was filthy when we arrived. Dirt everywhere, rubbish left on the floor by previous guests. It looked like nobody had properly cleaned it in a very long time. Broken umbrella, damaged wooden floor with holes in it. Shocking condition. The Eco Tents are located at the very end of the campsite. No proper lighting. Walking to the toilets at night feels unsafe. Every now and then there's even a dead bird lying around and nobody bothers to remove it. Price? €1,660 for 2 (1 adult 1 child) people for 13 days. Never again. The swimming pool area often smells like sewage. The gates to the lake are locked at 7pm, so the "great lakeside location" doesn't mean much either. Very disappointed. Even the football matches and entertainment are run mainly in German, with announcements and advertising in German, which is ridiculous and unfair considering people come here from all over Europe.

We stayed here for 7 nights in half term in a 2 bedroom Comfort holiday home. It was smaller than expected, but big enough for us and had lots of clever storage. It was so clean and like new and had a large partly shaded terrace. We stayed as a family of 4. Our children are 4 and 10. The only kitchen items that we didn’t have that we normally have in this type of accommodation were an oven and a dishwasher so it was still well equipped. There was a gas BBQ outside each of the Comfort Holiday Homes that we saw. We didn’t use it, as the takeaway and pool bars had decent food that was a good price. The only meal that we prepared in the accommodation was breakfast due to the variety, quality and costs of food on site. The site also had some restaurants, a good size supermarket and smaller shops that sold food, gifts, toys etc. We had planned to do some exploring but the weather was between 31 and 34 C all week so it was too hot to do much with having a 4 year old with us. There was really no need to leave the site though in that weather. The three activity pools were brilliant and included a variety of slides and other that our children loved. There was also outdoor soft play for young kids that was an extra charge, which we were surprised at. There is also direct lake access which was really nice. Our accommodation was a short walk to the pools, shops and lake, which even in the heat was walkable for us all. We could see the lake from the road we were staying on. All of the staff that we spoke to were lovely apart from the one person that checked us in, but it was past 7pm and there was still a big queue so it could have just been tiredness. We booked with Eurocamp and the Eurocamp reps were also lovely and very helpful. We had a brilliant stay and definitely want to stay there again soon.
