We stayed here for 7 nights in half term in a 2 bedroom Comfort holiday home. It was smaller than expected, but big enough for us and had lots of clever storage. It was so clean and like new and had a large partly shaded terrace. We stayed as a family of 4. Our children are 4 and 10. The only kitchen items that we didn’t have that we normally have in this type of accommodation were an oven and a dishwasher so it was still well equipped. There was a gas BBQ outside each of the Comfort Holiday Homes that we saw. We didn’t use it, as the takeaway and pool bars had decent food that was a good price. The only meal that we prepared in the accommodation was breakfast due to the variety, quality and costs of food on site. The site also had some restaurants, a good size supermarket and smaller shops that sold food, gifts, toys etc. We had planned to do some exploring but the weather was between 31 and 34 C all week so it was too hot to do much with having a 4 year old with us. There was really no need to leave the site though in that weather. The three activity pools were brilliant and included a variety of slides and other that our children loved. There was also outdoor soft play for young kids that was an extra charge, which we were surprised at. There is also direct lake access which was really nice. Our accommodation was a short walk to the pools, shops and lake, which even in the heat was walkable for us all. We could see the lake from the road we were staying on. All of the staff that we spoke to were lovely apart from the one person that checked us in, but it was past 7pm and there was still a big queue so it could have just been tiredness. We booked with Eurocamp and the Eurocamp reps were also lovely and very helpful. We had a brilliant stay and definitely want to stay there again soon.
