Nice hotel, we took a family room, that was two rooms 35/36 joined in one with shared bathroom and wc. There is a big parking just in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. Just in 3 min walk from the city center. Very good prices for its value.

Alex was a wonderful host. The rooms were clean and quiet. The food was delicious! We ate dinner and two breakfasts here and were very happy.

We had a room in an annex above the pool bar (which was not in use), not in the main hotel. The room was away from the main road and with no traffic noise. The hotel had a car park, and a pool which we used. It was a very short walk to the small town centre. Photos on the website were not matched by the reality, as the room had very shabby and dated decor and furnishings, including the bathroom. The bed linen also seemed old and not very fresh. The area around the pool was untidy and the car park was overrun by chickens. We were very disappointed by our room which we had booked for the first 2 nights of our holiday, and only stayed in the hotel to sleep, otherwise preferring to go out. We did not spend any time in the main hotel building or risk the restaurant, so we can't comment on that. I am sorry to post such a negative review and it seems to me that traditional family-run French hotels of the kind we used to visit in the 70s may be struggling now, but this one needs some energy, love and money spent on it to improve.

Booked in by our walking holiday company. An obvious 2 star bedroom but very clean and some kind young men who took my case upstairs. A superb restaurant and dinner really outperformed our expectations. A hiccup transporting our luggage the next day to our next hotel wasn’t appreciated after a 24km walk but we understand they are new hotel owners just not too well organised!

If you’re looking for a traditional French hotel full of character and charm, don’t go here! From our experience, the online pictures of the rooms bear no relation to the reality. Our so-called « superior queen room » was truly awful. It was so bad that, for the first time ever, we decided to cut our losses and stay somewhere else. It’s the top floor of a poolside annexe and it appears to have stayed in a 1980s time warp. The bathroom and shower were horrible as was the toilet, which was in a kind of enclosed cupboard with no ventilation. Wallpaper peeling and grubby. Bedding looked old and worn. Why stay in a place which is far, far worse than your own home? But, judging from the reviews, some people apparently like this kind of thing. Pay no attention to the photos on websites. This place needs a complete renovation. Gives French hotels a bad name.

We had a lovely room looking down onto the pool and with a gorgeous bathroom. Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, great location and we had a fun night in their restaurant.
