Yankee Trail Motel

Spent one night at the Yankee Trail while in the area for a concert. What a pleasant suprise! Was greeted by the owner Charlene at our room and immediately felt like I staying with an old friend. The rates were fair, the room was newly renovated, clean and comfy. An on site firepit with wood provided made for a great late night hang with other guests. I highly recommend the Yankee Trail for family getaways.

What a terrific place! The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful at check-in, the room was well-appointed and spotless, and we immediately got the vibe that we were staying at a place where the owners are deeply involved and care about their business and their customers. Icing on the cake is a delicious, made-to-order, home-cooked breakfast. If you have the opportunity to stay at the Yankee Trail Hotel, we definitely recommend it!

I stayed at Yankee Trail, Motel for 4 1/2 days. The rooms were impeccable, beautifully designed and everything you need in one spot. The in the morning is amazing. They have a pool they have a fire pit barbecue. You can do just about anything there and it’s so peaceful. Dealing with Charlene and Kevin was one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve ever had. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at Yankee Trail Motel - our room was beautiful, clean, and extremely comfortable. The check-in process was easy, the owners were nice, and the booking included breakfast, which was delicious. We were just in town for the weekend, but we will definitely be coming back for a longer vacation!

For the few times we have visited Meredith and Lake Winnipesaukee we have stayed in the Weirs Beach area. No more. Spent 2 nights at Yankee Trail and loved it. Rooms are very clean and functional (like having a key rack by the door); and rates are reasonable. Ample parking right in front of your unit. Very quiet even if it being on a main road. Pool wasn't open since ours was an October visit but looked inviting. We loved having breakfast on site---------great selection and saved a trip into Holderness or Meredith. Only downside is that the WiFi can be spotty. Finally, very nice and accommodating owners.

Nice room, good shower and friendly owners and home cooked breakfast made the trip a nice experience. Easy chairs could be more comfortable but this minor detail did not affect our satisfaction.

This place was so charming. very clean and lots of attention to thoughtful detail. Pet friendly! The owners were very personable and friendly. check in was easy. Breakfast was made to order and very good. Dining room is nicely decorated. There are also bistro tables in front of units. I would stay again.

Yankee Trail Motel is over the top! After reading reviews, we decided to stay here in February for two nights and I will say that we were pleasantly surprised. The room was immaculate and the made to order breakfast, prepared by Charlene was delicious. Charlene and Kevin (owners) made us feel like family. Don't let the word "motel" discourage you from staying here. You won't be disappointed! B & J Brown

Wow, what a surprise. This unassuming roadside motel offered exceptional up to date rooms with all the amenities (renovated bathroom, USB outlets everywhere, microwave, mini fridge, HD cable TV). The owners were very friendly and helpful in recommending local dinner choices (we went with Walter’s Basin and it was great). The included breakfast was cooked to order omelets, French toast, bacon, sausage, as well as the usual continental muffins, yogurts, coffee, and juice. The only thing we could think of that would have made the room a little better was a boot tray or rug just inside the door. It is winter and the snow/mud was an issue. We’ll definitely come back again, the outdoor fire pit looked great for a summer or fall night.
