Hotel Octave Maldives

Good central location. Road is small and narrow so taxi will not go in but it is not far to walk even with luggage from main road. Staff helped to bring luggage to room and show the location of the separate toilet/bathroom (not adjoined for the small budget rooms but not shared with others). Only problem is he also just barged into my room to check something. Should wait for my permission and for me to open the door instead of opening it himself and barging in. Perhaps it's because of language problem. Other than that, a decent place.

To many cockroaches and plus water bottle and other items provided by hotels are expensive like out side water bottle is 0.32$ and in hotel same bottle is for 2$ .

Extremely polite and friendly. I showed up late, confused, and tired. The Octave crew went out of their way to make sure all my needs were met. Got me breakfast and back to the airport early the next morning to catch a ferry. Malé is tightly packed and very confusing, I wouldn't have made it without their help. Clean, professional, and affordable. Money well spent.

It was an OK stay. I only stayed for one night, nothing spectacular. I just need a bed that night because the immigration officer said the property I booked for that night is not accredited. The bathroom is located outside of my room but I was the only one using it. Quite a 10 to 15-minute walk to the jetty to get to Maafushi.

Location was very bad . Full of motorcycle parked near gate and couldn't find the entrance Small lane lead to the entrance and vehicles can't go near . Need to walk to find the hotel
