Smile Lanna Hotel

The hotel is very close to the airport, only 1-point-something kilometers away, and about 400 meters from a 7-Eleven. However, it's quite far from Chiang Mai University. The hotel is small, with all rooms built around the swimming pool. The ground floor rooms lack a bit of privacy. On the plus side, the hotel offers daily DIY activities in the morning, which is great for families. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, they also have soap making, and bracelet making is available every day. The staff helping with the bracelet making is very nice. It's an eco-friendly hotel; they don't provide disposable slippers. Each room also has a complimentary snack bar with a good variety of food and drinks.

The pickup service was excellent, and there were free crafts in the morning. Every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic and always smiling. The environment was also great; you could really enjoy swimming and playing in the water. The location is convenient. Highly recommend!

The breakfast was delicious, especially the mango sticky rice, which was absolutely amazing! The afternoon tea was also lovely. The pool was quite clean, and I really enjoyed swimming every day. The hotel's location on the main road is very convenient. I would definitely consider coming back next time.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights during my trip. The environment was comfortable, and the facilities were new. The staff were friendly and polite; everything was impeccable. The rooms had a modern Thai design. The standout feature was the dining bar, set in a comfortable and incredibly pleasant garden environment. Also, the fish pond's ecological environment was absolutely beautiful. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. However, I have three points of feedback: 1) The toilet paper in the room was extremely thin, the worst quality I've encountered in any hotel I've stayed at during my travels. 2) There was no conditioner in the shower room. After swimming in the pool every day and showering back in the room, not having conditioner for several days made my hair feel terrible. 3) The hotel breakfast was quite monotonous. After four nights, I grew tired of eating the same breakfast.

Had a fantastic stay for four nights! The pool was great and my kids loved it. They offered daily craft activities in the mornings, and even soap making on weekends. The hotel food was also excellent, and there was a happy hour every afternoon. All the staff were super friendly, and room cleaning was prompt and thorough. They offer a free airport shuttle, and on weekends, they provide transfers to various markets, which was really convenient. Taking a taxi was also much easier than staying in the Old City.

On a trip with friends, we booked three different hotels, and this one was by far the most authentic and comfortable – a truly excellent hotel. The breakfast was plentiful, and the service was incredibly thoughtful; everyone was smiling, making for a fantastic experience. The front desk and security staff were very welcoming and efficient. Housekeeping was prompt, and the in-room water and snacks were complimentary, which was very convenient. Enjoy! The pool was amazing. It was a great travel experience, especially because of Lanna (referring to the Lanna style/culture).

Had a truly wonderful stay! We were there for three nights and loved how charming and compact the hotel is. The pool was exceptionally well-maintained, which my kids really enjoyed. They offered daily craft activities in the mornings, and on weekends, you could even make soap, which was a nice touch. The hotel's food was also excellent, and the daily happy hour in the afternoons was a bonus. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Room cleaning was prompt and thorough; they even folded our clothes! Our flight arrived very late, but they had already set up the extra bed in our room by the time we got there. The concierge was proactive in helping us with our luggage, and getting food delivery and taxis was super easy. Highly recommend!
