Smile Lanna Hotel

This hotel offers an amazing experience! I rarely write service reviews for hotels, but I just had to praise this one. I booked the hotel's free airport pick-up a day in advance, and sure enough, the staff was already waiting when I arrived. Their attitude was excellent. They assisted me with check-in and my luggage throughout the whole process. The room smelled lovely, and while the hotel isn't large, it has everything you need (except for a laundry room). I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I called room service a few times and they were always quick to respond. It's also very friendly towards Chinese guests. The location is great too, less than a 10-minute drive from the airport, and it's convenient to take a taxi to Nimman Road or the Old City. All in all, it's a great choice.

Environment: This Lanna-style hotel has a very comfortable garden layout. The hotel isn't large overall, but it's very refined. Facilities: The family room includes a king-size bed and a smaller bed. The bathroom has a bathtub. The shower design isn't ideal, making it hard to keep the wet and dry areas separate. You might also spot tiny ants. Service: Room service was prompt and efficient, and the overall cleanliness was good.

The room was spacious and had a balcony with panoramic views of the hotel. However, the facilities were a bit old.

Smiling Lanna truly lives up to its name; everyone there provides service with a smile. The location is also very convenient, right in the southeast corner of the Old City, so nothing is too far away. They even arrange shuttle services to some attractions. The swimming pool was a bit dirty one day, but after I mentioned it to the staff, it was sparkling clean the very next day. This shows they truly care about their service.

The hotel is very close to the airport, only 1-point-something kilometers away, and about 400 meters from a 7-Eleven. However, it's quite far from Chiang Mai University. The hotel is small, with all rooms built around the swimming pool. The ground floor rooms lack a bit of privacy. On the plus side, the hotel offers daily DIY activities in the morning, which is great for families. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, they also have soap making, and bracelet making is available every day. The staff helping with the bracelet making is very nice. It's an eco-friendly hotel; they don't provide disposable slippers. Each room also has a complimentary snack bar with a good variety of food and drinks.

The pickup service was excellent, and there were free crafts in the morning. Every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic and always smiling. The environment was also great; you could really enjoy swimming and playing in the water. The location is convenient. Highly recommend!

The breakfast was delicious, especially the mango sticky rice, which was absolutely amazing! The afternoon tea was also lovely. The pool was quite clean, and I really enjoyed swimming every day. The hotel's location on the main road is very convenient. I would definitely consider coming back next time.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights during my trip. The environment was comfortable, and the facilities were new. The staff were friendly and polite; everything was impeccable. The rooms had a modern Thai design. The standout feature was the dining bar, set in a comfortable and incredibly pleasant garden environment. Also, the fish pond's ecological environment was absolutely beautiful. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. However, I have three points of feedback: 1) The toilet paper in the room was extremely thin, the worst quality I've encountered in any hotel I've stayed at during my travels. 2) There was no conditioner in the shower room. After swimming in the pool every day and showering back in the room, not having conditioner for several days made my hair feel terrible. 3) The hotel breakfast was quite monotonous. After four nights, I grew tired of eating the same breakfast.
