A nice historic villa (main building) with spacious grounds and a swimming pool. The main building has spacious rooms, but their furnishings are relatively ascetic and chaotically eclectic. There is no luxury, but the historically romantic vibe is still there. The pool is also large enough for swimming. The massive wooden sun loungers that used to be there have been replaced with light and cheap sun loungers. The parasols are too small. There is no WiFi coverage by the pool. There is no service at the pool and cleaning is also very chaotic. One day, no staff was seen at the pool during the day and by the evening the pool trash can was full to the brim and the used towel box was no longer visible from under the pile of towels. A spacious territory, most of which is an empty field, but since the grass is not watered, it looks quite miserable. The employees are all very withdrawn and avoid eye contact and contact. The only employee who smiled was a younger girl at breakfast. Only when there is no friendly service do you realize how important such a factor really is in shaping the overall impression. At breakfast, they offer a large pot of ready-made coffee, but if you ask, you can also get freshly made machine coffee. However, no information is shared about such an option and if you don't ask, you have to accept the pot of coffee. At breakfast, all the basic meals are available, but everything is of very basic quality. The bathroom sink has a very low and very short spout faucet, which extends about 1 cm over the edge of the sink and because of this, it is very inconvenient to even wash your hands there. There are no shampoos and conditioners, only universal liquid soap. There is only one cup in the bathroom and it is also the cheapest disposable plastic cup. There is no tissue paper. There are no slippers and bathrobes. There is no kettle. One evening (on a workday) there was a corporate party and since the party hall was right under our window, we unfortunately couldn't sleep. We had to make several calls to the receptionist to get some peace and quiet and it took almost an hour before the music was finally turned off. Allegedly, the partygoers ignored the hotel receptionist's orders. If you are looking for a hotel with good quality and good service, this is not for you. If you like historical villas and interiors and are willing to put up with worn-out finishes and lack of service, then this is the place for you. NB! Please note that only the main building is nice, the interior of the annex is very basic. I understand that a thorough renovation of the hotel is very expensive and the payback period for the investments made is extremely long, but even with small funds the situation can be significantly improved and basic staff training should be done quite cheaply. The price is relatively affordable, but I would definitely be willing to pay more for higher quality and better service.
