I have to give this hotel five stars because five is the highest. I've been to Bangkok several times, and this was the happiest trip because we spent a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. Parking is free, and all the staff are polite and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful, though for me, there was a bit too much meat. It was a pleasant surprise to find Chinese soy milk and fried dough sticks! The room was very spacious, and the mini-fridge had complimentary drinks (only replenished on check-in, not daily). The bathroom was also large. Taking the shuttle boat to Sathorn Pier made it very convenient to connect to other transportation. My only minor complaint was that the toilet paper holder in our room's bathroom was installed too low and too close to the toilet. I would take the roll off and place it on the counter, but every day, the housekeepers would put it back on the holder. This really isn't hygienic, as it's so close to the toilet that splashes can get on the toilet paper when men use it or when flushed. All in all, the next time we're in Bangkok, we'll definitely stay here again, and I've already recommended it to friends. Oh, and about that Michelin-starred fish porridge stall outside the hotel – I don't recommend it. The taste was very ordinary, and we waited half an hour from ordering to getting our food.
