Lhasa Fanlian Hotel

The hotel was very popular, so I could only book it for one night. The cowboy hat the hotel provided made for some great photos. However, as I was traveling alone, the room was a bit large and the temperature was a bit low. It got better after I asked the front desk for a heater. My trip was rushed, so I only had time to experience the sound bath and ******* bath SPA, which were both pretty good overall.

You can see the Potala Palace, and the night view, especially, is truly stunning. The room is very comfortable, with diffused oxygen, and the toiletries are all high-end. There's even a thoughtful disposable face towel and a warm goodnight drink. The butler service is also very attentive, always ready to answer questions and incredibly warm and thoughtful. The hotel offers many activities. I tried the ******* incense making experience, which was excellent, and I got to take my handmade incense home! There's also a gong meditation in the evening. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to experience it, and it gets crowded, so you need to book in advance. The afternoon tea felt just okay, haha, maybe I just didn't like the space which was a bit too dark.

The hotel's location is great, just a 10-minute drive from Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The staff are very friendly and service-minded, always ready to help with anything. Overall a good experience, highly recommend!

Environment: Quiet and healing. Hygiene: The room was tidied and cleaned daily. Service: Welcome fruit upon check-in, and a choice of millet or red bean congee for evening turndown service, which I enjoyed.

The best decision I made on this trip to Tibet was booking this hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic – it's only a 10-15 minute walk to Barkhor Street, and Potala Palace Square is just a short taxi ride away. I have to highlight the diffuse oxygen supply! On my first day in Lhasa, I felt lightheaded and dizzy. After turning on the oxygen supply in my room and getting some sleep, I woke up feeling completely refreshed. The room also came with a humidifier, which is so important for someone from the south like me – no more waking up with a dry, sore throat in the middle of the night. The service was also incredibly warm. The front desk staff saw me struggling with my luggage and helped me carry it all the way to my room, even reminding me not to shower on the first day. Breakfast was plentiful and included sweet tea. While the variety wasn't extensive, it brought me so much joy. I'll definitely choose this place again when I bring my parents next time.

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Lhasa. The service is incredibly attentive, the rooms are very clean and tidy, and the views are also nice~

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and responsive. The unique activities, like meditation and Thangka painting, were well-organized. The hotel breakfast was decent, but could be improved in terms of quality. Overall, I would stay here again on my next trip to Lhasa.

The facilities are great, and there's no noise. It was the best decision for my first trip to Lhasa, staying for three nights straight. The special activities were a thoughtful touch, and the bar for afternoon tea was perfect for photos. I spent most of my first three days in Lhasa at the hotel and never felt bored. The only downside is that the à la carte prices in the restaurant are too high and the portions are tiny, though the set meals are a bit better. This doesn't stop me from giving it a 5-star rating.

Coloring in the room was a nice touch for some healing relaxation. This hotel feels perfect for unwinding and destressing. The breakfast was also delicious, and the restaurant had a great ambiance.
