Lhasa Fanlian Hotel

The hotel's location is great, and the decor is unique. The facilities are very complete. The ******* incense and Thangka painting experiences were excellent. Plus, the healing eight-story building offers fantastic views. Most importantly, the hotel staff are enthusiastic, provide excellent service, and are very patient. The restaurant food is quite good, I ate too much!

This hotel has a fantastic vibe! The staff are really welcoming, and the breakfast spread is excellent. I also enjoyed the sound healing experience. Plus, you can see the Potala Palace right from your room!

What a pleasant surprise to stay at Hotel Fanlian in Lhasa! The overall design is elegant and stylish, perfectly blending ******* aesthetics with modern simplicity. The service is warm and attentive, making the check-in experience feel very special. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the oxygen supply system is a thoughtful touch to alleviate altitude sickness. The courtyard view is absolutely stunning; every photo you take looks amazing. It's suitable for both traveling with companions or solo trips. Highly recommended!

We chose Fanlian purely for its 24-hour diffused oxygen supply, which was an absolute safety guarantee for us. Upon arriving at Fanlian, the small, simple entrance didn't leave much of an impression. However, our experience steadily improved after meeting our lovely butler, Zayang. Despite her small stature, Zayang carried our two large suitcases all the way to our room, meticulously explaining how to use the room's facilities, especially the oxygen operation panel (which was crucial). She was incredibly responsible, embodying both the genuine simplicity and kindness of the ******* people and the hotel's true dedication to serving its guests. I have to give Zayang a big thumbs up! 👍 Due to the limited availability of twin rooms and their smaller size, we opted for a family room with two spacious and comfortable beds. The hotel is more of a simple, convenient type and can't be compared to international chain hotels, but the cleanliness was impeccable, the room facilities were good, the bedding quality was excellent, and the lighting design was well thought out. The room also came with welcome fruit and evening hot drinks. The hotel's eighth-floor terrace offered a good view of the Potala Palace in the distance. I must commend the hotel's buffet breakfast. Although the dining area wasn't large, it was well-organized with a good variety of dishes, and the ingredients were of high quality. The à la carte lunch we had also far exceeded our expectations. A slight regret was the absence of a TV in the room. This isn't ideal for older guests who prefer to relax in their rooms and may not participate in hotel activities. Another suggestion: when the restaurant is crowded, it would be better to arrange tables individually instead of combining them. Sitting face-to-face with strangers at one table can be a bit awkward. Guests should be given private space to enjoy their meals comfortably. Nevertheless, these minor points don't detract from the overall experience. We will remember Fanlian's thoughtfulness, as well as beautiful Lhasa and the lovely snow lotus – Zayang!

I just arrived in Lhasa and was suffering from severe altitude sickness. This hotel's 24-hour dual oxygen diffusion system was an absolute lifesaver; I slept soundly all night without any discomfort. The overall ******* Wabi-sabi aesthetic is stunning, with prayer wheels and butter lamps in the lobby creating an amazing atmosphere. The rooftop terrace offers views of the Potala Palace, and the sunset photos I took there turned out incredible. The butler service was attentive throughout. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with hot sweet tea and a Hada. The room was equipped with a humidifier, high-quality bedding, and smart bathroom amenities – every detail was considered. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety, including ******* sweet tea, porridge, and noodles. There's also an old ******* house bar and a ******* incense making experience, allowing for an immersive cultural experience. The location is quiet, yet only a ten to fifteen-minute drive from Barkhor Street and the Potala Palace, making it very convenient for getting around. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Lhasa!

The Tibetan-style aesthetic and design elements create an amazing atmosphere. The butler service was very attentive and thoughtful. I appreciated the little details like the sound system, poetry collection, and wellness amenities. Breakfast was exceptionally rich and varied, a definite highlight! 👍 The only downside was the uneven path from the parking lot to the lobby, which made it difficult to pull luggage 🧳.

Meditation and Singing Bowl Sound Healing: I absolutely loved the hotel's experiential activities. There were scheduled events from morning to night. I checked with the front desk beforehand for the timings, and I could easily relax and enjoy myself all day at the hotel, with oxygen available 24/7.

The hotel environment is elegant, and they offer welcome fruits, afternoon tea, and a meditation sound bath. The breakfast quality is good, with a wide variety of satisfactory options. However, the personalized butler service was slow to respond and needs improvement. I wasn't very happy about having to switch rooms during my stay.

Loved the room's color scheme – simple yet the details really made it stand out. Would definitely stay here again next time!
