NYX Hotel Bilbao by Leonardo Hotels

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the city. It's a historical building itself, and it's easy to walk to all the attractions. The Guggenheim Museum is less than 2 km away, and you can enjoy the scenic walk along the river. While the hotel doesn't have its own parking, a public parking garage exit is conveniently located right across the street in the plaza park, so even with luggage, it's not a hassle to get to. There's also a good steak restaurant right next door. Fearing potential street noise, I specifically requested an inner-facing room at the front desk. Though there's no view, it was indeed very quiet.

The hotel was good, but for the price, the facilities were below expectations. It was clean and in a good location, but it's not a 4-star hotel.

Excellent location, comfortable beds. It was noisy in the room on the first floor in the morning, but you have to understand that the hotel is on a very touristy street. A great option for two days.

We met a wonderful cleaning lady during our stay. We left our pajamas on the bed and some skincare products scattered around, and she neatly folded our clothes and placed the skincare items on the table. When we returned, the room was spotless.

The room was small for the price. The bathroom is a glass box inside the room, but the problem was there was no ventilation, and after a shower, steam would fill the room and linger. The location is excellent in the old town (on the perimeter), overlooking the main square and the theater. Tram, bus, and subway stops are just a few steps away. Excellent in this regard. The breakfast was monotonous (you'd notice after 3 nights), and the selection was questionable for 15 euros per person. I must mention the courtesy and kindness of the staff, from the reception to the bar and breakfast team.

Top-notch hotel, excellent location. It allowed us to easily get around Bilbao, with the metro, bus, and parking all nearby.
