The Peninsula Shanghai

The hotel is incredibly luxurious and high-end, with clean and comfortable rooms. It's also just 100 meters away from the Bund, perfect for enjoying the view. The service was excellent; they even sent back an item we forgot via SF Express, free of charge. We'll definitely be back for our next vacation.

Great location, and the views are top-notch. The afternoon tea wasn't good, but breakfast was decent. The tableware was very delicate. However, the service was terrible, as you can see from the text in the pictures. This was my personal experience, just for your reference.

Both the hotel itself and the guests staying there collectively create an atmosphere that made me feel it was truly great value for money. This older hotel truly offers a great experience. For me, a good hotel is one where the space is well-designed and the layout is so practical, you'd want to replicate it at home. The breakfast was also excellent.

Booked this hotel for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and their birthdays. The hotel found out and immediately arranged for a Peninsula cake and fruit. The cake was so delicious we ate it all before I could take a picture! My parents mentioned they liked the tea bags, and the staff promptly provided more for them. They also quickly came to teach them how to use the coffee machine. My parents were very happy. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious, and the location is superb. We also went to the jazz bar on the 14th floor to see the night view, which was absolutely stunning.

My stay at The Peninsula Shanghai was excellent. My travel plans changed, so I extended my stay by one night, and the front desk staff were incredibly efficient and proactive in helping me resolve everything. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a great selection of local Shanghai specialties.

The Peninsula Hotel is simply beyond words. The rooms are incredibly luxurious and opulent everywhere you look. But more importantly, there's an air of 'respect' that you truly have to experience for yourself. For breakfast, I loved the Peninsula classic pancakes, and in the evening, I enjoyed the bar on the 14th floor.
