Wonderful staycation. Newly open, hotel is clean, bed is comfortable and easy to access to TRX shopping mall. Would definitely come back.

2nd time staying at Kimpton KL, still as wonderful as ever. service was consistent, rooms were clean and location is very convenient. definitely now our go—to hotel when travelling to KL. highly recommend!

First, I noticed several small flies in the bathroom around the mirror area. They resembled drain or fruit flies—the type commonly seen around overripe fruit—and appeared to be coming from the drainage area. I discovered them while showering and therefore did not manage to take a photograph. Nevertheless, this is unacceptable for a newly opened hotel of this positioning and should be investigated immediately. Breakfast is particularly important to me as a corporate traveller, but the overall experience was very disappointing: 1. The selection was limited and did not compare favourably with other hotels in a similar price or star category. As someone who exercises regularly, I also found that there were almost no meaningful protein options apart from eggs. 2. I understand that the hotel is trying to provide a more personalised service by having guests order certain dishes and delivering them to the table. However, the execution was extremely slow. The attached photograph shows the beef noodles that arrived after a 12-minute wait, and the quality and presentation were very disappointing. 3. I also ordered an omelette, but the order appears to have been mishandled. After waiting for 20 minutes, it still had not arrived. As I was rushing to leave for work, I eventually had to depart without eating it. A service concept only adds value when it is delivered efficiently and accurately. For corporate guests working to a tight schedule, waiting 20 minutes for a breakfast order that never arrives creates significant inconvenience.

Visited kimpton as a birthday celebration with my family, really great stay. Welcome drinks at the door step.

Cosy little room, great location just above TRX mall. So its easy accessibility. Wide selection of breakfast choices and pretty yummy italian restaurant sabato at the top of the hotel. Overall experience is great.

I am extremely disappointed with both the hotel’s safety standards and the way this incident was handled. While I was taking a shower, a bathroom fixture suddenly fell off and nearly hit me. This was extremely dangerous and could have caused a serious injury. Despite the seriousness of the incident, the hotel did not offer any meaningful apology or proper resolution. Their lack of concern and accountability was very disappointing. Hotel facilities should be properly inspected and maintained before guests check in. This incident made me feel unsafe and greatly affected my stay. I hope Trip.com will take this matter seriously and provide an appropriate resolution.

We didn't realise this hotel until we check in and we love thier hospitality, hotel vibes and energetic team. Easy to access, and everything your need just around you. Will stay again on my next business trip.
