Selina Serenity Rawai Phuket

I'm very dissatisfied and won't be booking this hotel again. First, the air conditioning and refrigerator are very old and incredibly noisy. I'd estimate at least 50-60 decibels. It was impossible to sleep with the AC on at night, but if you turned it off, it was stuffy and hot. Neither of my two children got any good sleep. Secondly, the bathroom doesn't have a separate wet and dry area. For a family room with four people using one bathroom, as soon as one person is in there, no one else can use it. Plus, the bathroom had a strong smoke smell, which was unpleasant for both kids. The pool is very sunny with no shade. The restaurant food is terrible. It's expensive but the quality is poor, and you have to wait a long time for your order to arrive. Aside from the night shift staff member who checked me in, who was very patient and responsible, the hotel took no action whatsoever after I messaged them on WhatsApp about the air conditioning noise. It was still just as noisy at night. In short, if you're traveling with kids or if you're a light sleeper, do not choose this hotel. They haven't done any soundproofing. If anyone talks in the hallway, you can hear every single word.

Located in the south, it's over an hour's drive from the airport if there's no traffic. Breakfast was decent, and it's a good spot to spend some time with young friends.
