The bungalow was beautiful, thoughtfully designed with local touches, and reflected the property's strong commitment to sustainable tourism. It was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The resort is design-focused and exudes a tranquil, laid-back vibe. We loved the stunning beach with its crystal-clear waters and the lush greenery surrounding the property. What impressed us most was how the resort consistently maintained a high standard in every aspect of our stay. The food was consistently excellent, with both breakfast and dinner offering a great variety of high-quality, flavourful dishes made from fresh ingredients. The service from the staff was outstanding. The entire Zuri team delivered impeccable hospitality. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. We can't wait to return and reconnect with some of the wonderful people who made our stay so special. Highly recommended!

Beautiful resort in lush grounds, rooms hidden away in greenery. Private section of the beach. Full schedule of activities to keep you occupied, yoga, volleyball and other beach games etc. Highly recommend the spice tour in their gardens. Food is good. Service can be improved.

I can say it's the best hotel in Zanzibar

We were a group of 11 friends, who spent 48 hours at Zuri Zanzibar as the final part of a 7 day (primarily safari) African holiday. To be honest, I was not very excited about this leg of the trip, but it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts, mainly because of the food and the service. All of us are vegetarian, and that is usually a worry when travelling in Africa. Not here. Executive Chef Beral (who is from India) looked after us from the first meal to the last. Every dish was fresh, full of flavour and made with real care, and he took the trouble to check with us on what we would like rather than just giving us whatever was on the buffet. He understands vegetarian food properly, not as an afterthought. Several of the serious foodies in our group said that his Risotto was the best they have ever eaten, and these are people who have eaten well all over the world. Even the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio was fantastic. Over two days we never once felt short of choice. He used local ingredients to produce some amazing dishes. Chef Beral, thank you - your food made our stay. A special mention also for Shah, the F&B Manager. He is warm, attentive and genuinely interested in making guests happy. Whatever we asked for was done quickly and with a smile, and he made us feel at home from day one. Good food and good service are what turn a nice hotel into a place you remember, and Zuri has both. Would also like to thank Anna in the Front Office who was constantly checking on us and played her part in making our stay wonderful. Our group would recommend this hotel strongly to any Indian or vegetarian family travelling to Zanzibar. Many thanks to Chef Beral, Shah and the whole team !

Hotel Facilities, restaurants and service are really good. We stayed in a Familiar Villa/Suite (Saffrons 90) with beach/ sea views and was amazing with plenty of space, a warm jacuzzi , big terrace, in side and out side shower and a big saloon. All amenities are perfect. The pool is clean and with good views, beach amenities are also perfect. The only reason I don’t give five stars it’s because they try cheat me, I requested some bottles of Tanzania Gin to take home (official price 35 to 40 USD, and they ask me 175USD that’s have no sense, off course I reported this to the Manager who’s reaction was perfect he apologize and takes care that’s talk very very well. A completely recommend place to finish your time just to relax after Safaris in mainland.

Our stay at Zuri Zanzibar was nothing short of exceptional. We were fortunate to stay in the spectacular 3-Bedroom Oceanfront Villa #93, and it exceeded every expectation. The villa is stunning, beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and offers breathtaking ocean views with complete privacy. It truly felt like our own slice of paradise. What made this trip unforgettable, though, was the people. The level of service at Zuri is simply world-class. Our butler, Ben, was without question the best butler we have ever had anywhere in the world. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. In the evenings, Erik took over and was equally fantastic, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. Together, they made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Every single request we made was handled quickly, professionally, and always with a warm smile. It is rare to experience service that is so consistently outstanding. The dining experience deserves special recognition as well. The food was exceptional throughout our stay, and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate every request we had. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Luxury hotels are easy to find. Resorts where every single member of the team consistently delivers genuine hospitality are incredibly rare. Zuri Zanzibar is one of those special places. Thank you to Ben, Erik, the wonderful chef, and the entire Zuri team for giving our family memories that will last a lifetime. We cannot wait to return.
