Grand Park City Hall Singapore

Poor check-in experience. The elevator to the 9F rooftop garden constantly failed to register the 9F button. The Wi-Fi was terrible—out of two phones used for a conference call, only one could connect, which seriously disrupted my work and daily life and was extremely inconvenient! To make matters worse, the hotel staff insisted that it was an issue with my phones rather than the hotel's Wi-Fi. Instead of trying to solve the problem, they went out of their way to shirk responsibility. The service experience was abysmal! It completely fails to match the standards of a 5-star hotel in terms of service and breakfast quality.

The environment is great, the pool is large with both shallow and deep sections, a slide, and a separate small pool with a slide that's 0.9m deep. There's also a hot spring pool nearby (didn't try it). Breakfast offers a very rich variety. The room is spacious, but the balcony sliding door couldn't be opened. Our room didn't directly face Clarke Quay; it faced a street perpendicular to the river.

The room is quite spacious for Singapore standards, and the cleanliness is good. There are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, making the check-in process very smooth. Staying here for three days made eating, drinking, and entertainment all around extremely convenient, and it's quite close to the MRT station.

This hotel is great for both business and family travel. Grand Park City Hall Singapore is just a three-to-five-minute walk from the City Hall MRT station. I had an exhibition at Suntec, and it was super convenient to walk there (the MRT station has City Link Mall, and an underground walkway leads directly to the convention center). The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool on the fourth floor, and the breakfast offers a rich selection of both Western and Chinese options. The only downside is that the shower water temperature in the room was always unstable; otherwise, the experience was quite good. There's also Funan mall nearby, which is more than enough for dining and shopping.

The location is excellent! It's just a few minutes' walk from the City Hall MRT station, and Funan Mall is right next door, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. While the facilities are a bit older, the cleanliness is impeccable, so overall, I was quite satisfied. The only minor issues were the somewhat dated shower facilities and low water pressure. (I'd mentioned it was for my sister's birthday, and I was so pleasantly surprised to receive a cake and a birthday card from the hotel! It was incredibly thoughtful. What's even more amazing is that the cake was her favorite chocolate brownie! She was absolutely thrilled 🥳)

The environment is great and the room is very spacious. Although the front desk staff's Chinese wasn't perfect, they were all incredibly friendly! They even gave us one of the hotel's long-handled umbrellas, which is really nice. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit all the city's attractions.

The hotel's location is excellent. We could walk to Clarke Quay, Fort Canning Park, the Old Hill Street Police Station, Merlion Park, and Marina Bay Sands. There's also the South Fort shopping mall across the street, with a supermarket in the basement which was convenient for buying water and had lots of food options. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were very friendly and spoke fluent Chinese, so communication was seamless. Highly recommended, I'll definitely choose Grand Park City Hall Singapore again next time.

Forgot to take photos of the hotel room, but the bedding was extremely comfortable, the toiletries were great, and the water pressure was strong. The location is also very convenient, and the room voucher I bought on Trip.com was a great value for money. It's within walking distance to pretty much everywhere.
