the Shanghai EDITION

I really love The Edition's style. I originally wanted to book a room with a Bund view, but it's so popular that they were all sold out. My butler, Colin, knew this and helped me arrange a city view room that still had a slight glimpse of the Bund, which made up for the disappointment! Next time, I definitely need to book a room with a Bund view! Facilities: Excellent! I'd recommend it to all my family and friends!

Our room didn't include breakfast when we checked in, but Iris from Guest Relations kindly brought us two delicious breakfasts. [smiley face]

Yona contacted me even before check-in to ask about any special requests. They checked in with me daily about my stay, which was great service. The room came with chocolates, fruit, a canvas bag, and pillow mist. Breakfast was exquisite, and the service was attentive. The entire hotel staff was very service-minded. Thanks again, Yona!

Traveling with family, the hotel's overall management and service were great. The guest reception was excellent, truly outstanding. The location is superb. Breakfast was delicious too! They even provide custom Le Labo travel-sized toiletries!

Room: The room is very spacious, and I love the minimalist, natural wood decor. It's clean and stylish, without any unnecessary frills. The minibar and snacks inside are all complimentary (excluding alcohol). The bed was super soft and comfortable, and they even provide a full Le Labo toiletries set, which is a brand I already love. Breakfast: It's a semi-buffet style, with cold dishes self-serve and hot dishes ordered à la carte. This way, you only order what you'll eat, preventing waste. The breakfast selection is very rich, with both Chinese and Western options. My absolute favorites were the sticky rice cake with ribs and the beef noodles with large chunks of beef – incredibly fragrant. Service: I was assisted by Yona, a really beautiful lady. She was gentle and patient, proactively adding me on WeChat beforehand to discuss check-in details (like if I was bringing children) and any extra requests. After I checked in, she thoughtfully prepared a berry platter and delicious chocolates. She was also very patient in answering all my subsequent questions about the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next visit and seeing her again! 😊

Aside from the slightly high price, everything else was quite good. The service was excellent, and the location is fantastic, right downstairs from Nanjing Road.
