Neat little hotel and town

The room smells like weeds

It was fine. My one issue is that they didn't specify the 4% charge for paying by credit card. The front desk clerk only asked how I was paying, cash or card. When I noticed the art was higher than expected I saw a the credit card fee listed only as "adjustment" on the receipt I asked and she only pointed to a sign saying in fine print there was a 4% fee for using a credit card. I am ok with there being a fee, but I am NOT ok with a fee not being explicitly stated. They should verbally indicate the fee. It takes 2 seconds and leaves the customer with a better feeling about the transparency of the transaction. Even better they should offer a discount for paying by cash rather than a fee for paying by credit card (which is doing something the vast majority of people do).

We got 2 rooms, they were both very clean. We had a heater/air unit but only used the fan so not sure how it worked but I assume fine since the fan on it worked no problem. No fuss room, sparce, but with a mini fridge that is helpful since we had food with us. We have off-grid property about 45 minutes away and so were looking for a place for an overnight stopover. This place was clean and with friendly owners. Nothing luxury about it, but think anyone staying in Lone Pine isn’t looking for that. I would stay here again for sure- cleaner than other places in town.

The room was even better than it was described. Super clean, spacious, and it had a fridge and a microwave.

The room was clean. The staff was nice and attentive. The AC worked fine. A museum is next door.

Lots of bugs little nats in the shower/ bath. A few big mosquito eater's spiders and flys.

The entire town has kept the look & feel of the old West. The motel room was clean and provided a bed, shower, microwave, and refrigerator, just what we needed for the night. We rested very well. The owner was very personable and awesome to work with. I would definitely consider staying there again.

A good value for the money. Our room was clean, checking in was easy, and for the price it was well worth what we got. Easy walk to restaurants.
