The St. Regis Shanghai Jingan

The hotel is beautiful and opulent, with gorgeous crystal chandeliers everywhere, perfect for photos! We booked two suites which were very comfortable. The staff were extremely warm and professional, especially our butler Cherry, who was incredibly thoughtful. She asked about our needs in advance and even arranged a birthday setup. In the evening, there was a bubble bath, which the kids absolutely loved!

The noise issue has been resolved. My butler was very attentive to my stay, checking in with me proactively multiple times. After I provided feedback, the butler immediately offered solutions and implemented them effectively. All my requests were handled promptly, and the room service coordination was seamless. I truly felt their genuine dedication, and Tina was also incredibly thoughtful and committed.

Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. I particularly want to commend Bailey at the front desk and Koi, our butler, for their prompt responses to our needs. The check-in and check-out processes were efficient and quick, handled smoothly without long waits. The front desk staff were friendly and polite, very patient in their communication, and answered all our questions in detail. When we encountered issues, they responded quickly and actively helped coordinate solutions, providing meticulous and thoughtful service. Whether it was asking for information about local transportation or making small requests during our stay, everything was handled properly. The staff's professionalism and gentle demeanor made us feel very comfortable, genuinely enhancing our experience. Thanks to the front desk team for their dedicated service, I will prioritize this hotel for my next trip and highly recommend it to other travelers.

This hotel primarily stands out because of its people. The butler and reception teams here are incredible. They are extremely attentive, quick, discreet, and genuinely involved. They don't just fulfill requests; they go above and beyond to make you feel like a truly cared-for guest. Ultimately, it's the staff who significantly shape the overall hotel experience. Jimmy, Jeffry, and the rest of the team helped us with our requests every day and even prepared a surprise for the children's room before our arrival. They decorated it with balloons and ordered an incredibly delicate and delicious cake! They accepted all 33 (no joke!) packages and delivered them to our room. Hotel location: For us personally, this is one of the best areas in Shanghai – an excellent spot for walks, shopping, cafes, and restaurants. Yet, it completely lacks the crowds and tourist hustle you find on the Bund. After several trips to Shanghai, I can confidently say that Jing'an has definitely become my favorite location, and the St. Regis Jing'an feels like home. It's best to book a suite on the highest floors; as a bonus, you get a magnificent city view – especially in the evening when Shanghai lights up and at sunset when the sun dips below the city horizon. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time. In summary, the St. Regis Jing'an for me is where a great location, a beautiful city hotel, and a strong team all come together perfectly. I would absolutely return here.

I have to give a huge shout-out to the St. Regis Butler Service team; their response time truly embodies 'St. Regis speed.' During my stay, no matter what I needed, a quick tap on my phone was all it took for Tina to efficiently resolve the issue in a very short time. She was always elegant and discreet, never making me feel bothered. What impressed me most was on the day of my departure. My plans changed, and I needed to leave earlier. As soon as the butler learned this, she immediately coordinated a packed breakfast, arranged luggage transport, and a car. The entire process was seamless; I didn't have to wait an extra second. This kind of professionalism – valuing the guest's time as precious and handling any trouble themselves – is the true essence of the St. Regis Butler Service's worth.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to Fengsheng Li, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was superb, especially the pan-fried buns, which were Michelin-star quality. The hotel has an underground parking garage, unlike some hotels that share parking with shopping centers, so there's no need to worry if you're driving a luxury car. The hotel also has a swimming pool with good water quality, but the floor is very slippery, which is a safety hazard that I hope the hotel addresses.
