Excellent location, golden roof is only a stonr throw away. Room was amazing and spacious with full kitchen and complimentary milk. We only spent 1 night. Just to note for those wanting to book for more than few nights, changing towels and house keeping/room cleaning would be charged fees. Plus, I did not realize this before booking, but there is additional tourist charges for staying, from memory about 35 euro per person.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! The person at the front desk is extremely rude and unwilling to listen to what paying customers are asking for. We showed up to check in and wanted to ask to add an extra person to our reservation. We were a large group, so only some went inside while the rest waited outside. The person at the front desk said he knew our type and we were trying to scam him. Without giving us a chance, he ripped up our paperwork and told us to leave. We ended having to stay at a different hotel and still got charged for 2 nights at this hotel that we never stayed in. When we contacted the hotel asking for a refund, they replied that they have cameras and that we were disruptive to other guests. When we were there the lobby was empty but for 2 police officers that were chatting with front desk person. There are plenty of other options to stay in Innsbruck, avoid this hotel to not ruin your trip.

The location was perfect, couldn’t have been more central with view of the golden roof. In the evening there was the noise of the cafes below but it didnt bother us. Had it been warmer then the lack of aircon might have been an issue but there were fans in the room. We enjoyed our stay albeit only for one night.

We loved the location of the property, the view from the room was amazing. It was clean and was accurate with the listing description. Check in was easy and response time from property staff was quick and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay in Innsbruck. This hotel is very centrally located. It was clean. We didn’t really use the kitchen so I cannot speak to how well it was stocked. Check-in was very easy— we did the check in online as prompted in an email which made the process very easy. We only had to pay taxes at check in. We stayed during the massive heatwave and the room was almost unbearably hot. They did provide a portable AC and fan which tried to provide some relief but it is hard to do so when the temperature is over 90. It would eventually cool off a little after midnight. Having read the listing and reviews we were prepared for no AC, but I think having the ability to open and close windows would have helped greatly. They were locked shut. I asked about this and was told no. During normal temperatures though this would not be an issue. Otherwise, it does appear that many concerns expressed in previous reviews have been ameliorated. Overall this met our needs and our only complaint would not have been an issue if temperatures were normal.

We booked an apartment due to its central location and reviews through Vrbo. Communication prior to arrival was excellent and this continued on arrival. The apartments are located right in the middle of the old town, so superb for sightseeing. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and very quiet, even on the Tuesday of our stay, which was Faschingsdienstag (Shrove Tuesday) and a festival - it felt like the whole city was involved. The restaurant downstairs was also really good and the staff excellent. This might not be the cheapest place to stay in Innsbruck but it is certainly worth the price.

Beautiful spacious modern apartment with a lovely balcony that affords great views of the mountains. Situated right in the middle of the old town near sights and restaurants.

Staff were great, room was spotless and perfect view. This is my 4th year staying with Kaiser Max! Hoping to come back next year!
