Hali country hotel have a great restaurant, we enjoy our lunch and dinner here. Here also hotel reception, breakfast here was great.

This hotel is away from Selfoss, and very close to ocean, if it's sunny day, I bet we can see beautiful sunset, unfortunately, we stayed at a rainy/cloudy day. The room has kitchen and all the pots/bowel to make meals and with the adequate comfortable space in the room, it's ideal for some quiet summer vacation.

They put me in a room right next to the toilet, is that discrimination? I thought it was that yellow house, but it wasn't. Don't be fooled by the pictures, totally misleading.

The hotel's location is great, and the room was very clean. Parking was also convenient. However, the room rate was quite high. We booked a triple room without breakfast, and there were no kitchen facilities or a microwave. For just one night's sleep, the value for money was low. The hotel has a restaurant, but the prices are also high, and there are no other supermarkets or restaurants nearby, so you'll need to stock up on supplies in the previous town.

The hotel is not far from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. We weren't doing the full Ring Road, so we didn't consider staying in Höfn. This location was perfect because it was very close to our meeting point for the glacier hike the next day, which worked out great.

We enjoyed our stay there. Easy access and check in (we arrived like 11pm). The hotel sent us the very clear and useful instruction of how to get there and how to checkin if arrive late. The breakfast was great but located at different building of the room and not near, you could walk if you have time but driving is recommended :)
