Shilla Stay Seodaemun (Seoul Station)

This was my second stay at this hotel. The first time, I stayed in a family room and had a very good overall experience, so I chose this place again for my trip to Korea. There was a minor hiccup during this stay. After getting to the room, I found there was no bathtub, even though the room type picture I saw when booking showed one. I went downstairs to speak with the front desk, and the staff quickly understood my request and helped us change rooms. The whole process was smooth and the experience was great. What impressed me most during my stay was how clean and tidy the room was kept every day. Coming back to a well-organized room every evening always put me in a good mood. The room facilities were also comprehensive, with no issues for daily use. Additionally, the hotel view is excellent. Being on a high floor, I could see distant mountains and cityscapes from the window. The view was especially comfortable on a clear day. One more thing that deserves special praise is the soundproofing, which is truly outstanding. At night, I hardly heard any noise; sounds from the corridor barely entered the room, and I couldn't even hear normal conversations from next door. For someone like me who values a good sleeping environment, this was a huge plus, and I slept very well throughout my stay. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay. From the front desk communication, room cleanliness, facilities, to the view and soundproofing, everything left a great impression on me. If I come to Seoul again in the future, I would still be willing to choose this hotel.

Great location, with the airport shuttle and Metro Line 5 right at the hotel's doorstep, making getting around super convenient. The breakfast is just okay, and the lobby is quite small, but the room size is decent and it's clean.

The room was very clean, and most importantly, the location was excellent – nowhere felt far away. It was also convenient, and breakfast was great.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right on Line 5. The BBQ place next door is also fun and delicious; I'll definitely go back there next time. However, the hotel itself is very old and can't compare to Tianan. At SGD 260 a night, it's really poor value for money. The charger didn't work well, and the room was extremely basic.
