Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur

Overall it was a great stay. Both the food and accommodation were good, and the swimming pool was nice too. However, the front desk service was a bit slow, and the staff didn't do anything when people cut in line. For a five-star hotel, attention to detail in service still needs improvement.

The breakfast seating area was way too cramped, and it smelled strongly of cooking oil. Plus, the towels were frayed at the edges. I was very disappointed with my stay this time.

Clean and tidy, with an excellent location. You can see the Petronas Twin Towers right from your room! The breakfast spread is rich and varied, the gym is well-equipped, and the swimming pool overlooks the city park! Absolutely fantastic!

Stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur for 3 days and 2 nights with two adults and two children. We chose the Petronas Twin Towers view room, which offered an absolutely stunning view – we could admire the towers' night scenery right from our bed. The hotel service was thoughtful and attentive, cleanliness was impeccable, and facilities were excellent. It was a great experience traveling with kids; the front desk was responsive, and the location was convenient, within walking distance to KLCC. It's definitely a top choice for family travel, highly recommended!

The location is very central, close to KLCC Park, right next to Kuala Lumpur's largest city park. However, you can't see the Petronas Twin Towers from the pool. It's just a short walk to the Twin Towers, so I'd give the location 5 stars. As for the facilities, there's not much to say. They're quite old, so I can't really give them a star rating; they're just acceptable for a stay. Service gets four stars. Almost all the staff we encountered were smiling and greeted us, which was a big plus. We stayed during the National Day holiday and it coincided with the F1 race in Kuala Lumpur. The hotel was swarmed with F1 fans, which wasn't handled very well and significantly impacted the guest experience.

I've always wanted to stay at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur! The oriental interior, blended with Chinese elements, is beautiful, and strolling around the hotel is a delight. There were plenty of welcome fruits, and the room was very satisfying. I highly recommend it as 5-star hotels in Malaysia are all quite affordable ✨

The room cleaning was impeccable, with every corner thoroughly tidied, giving a strong sense of cleanliness and making it truly comfortable. And most importantly, the hotel staff's service was incredibly polite and kind, which left a lasting impression. Their meticulous attention to detail allowed me to relax and enjoy a pleasant time. I would definitely like to stay here again!
