Novotel Century Hong Kong

This hotel was renovated in 2017, so my expectations weren't very high initially. However, it's actually very well-maintained. The staff are well-trained. When the front desk learned we were traveling with an elderly person, they proactively arranged connecting rooms for us, which made it much easier to look after them. We were originally assigned a room on the 4th floor, but when we requested a slightly higher floor, they checked for availability and even upgraded our room for free. They were also incredibly helpful and enthusiastic when we asked about transportation around the hotel. This is definitely a trustworthy hotel.

Great location! It's an easy walk from Wan Chai Station Exit A1 – just head straight east along Lockhart Road. The lobby is spacious and bright, and check-in was pretty quick. We arrived around 1:30 PM during the May Day holiday, and our room wasn't ready yet; they said it wouldn't be until after 2 PM. However, when I returned around 2:15 PM after grabbing a coffee, the room was available. For Hong Kong standards, the room was quite spacious. I'd read online that the air conditioning was loud, and it's true – I didn't sleep well the first night. The second night, I just turned it off completely and finally got some proper rest. Also, the soundproofing isn't great; you can easily hear when the next-door room is running water. On a positive note, the breakfast quality is excellent, as expected from an Accor property.

Exceeded expectations! Everything was great, except for the slightly higher price during the holiday season. The location is super convenient. The hygiene was excellent, and the service was top-notch. Even though it's an older hotel, everything is still in good condition.

Overall, it was a good stay and met my expectations. The location is excellent with plenty of dining options nearby. The service was good; they provided breakfast, which had a variety of Chinese, Western, and Asian styles, and the rice noodle rolls were delicious. It's a great choice for business trips.

This is an older Accor hotel, and while the facilities are a bit dated, they are kept very clean. The surrounding area isn't the best, but the location is excellent, just under a ten-minute walk to the exhibition center. The breakfast has improved, and the executive lounge's food selection is twice as good as last year. I'll definitely come back.

Both the front desk staff and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Environment: There are plenty of dining options nearby, and public transport is convenient. Facilities: The hotel is a bit old, which is noticeable in the rooms, but the room size was perfectly fine. The lobby and elevators are also well-maintained. Air purifiers were placed in both the corridors and the rooms. The air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy, but it didn't bother me.

Every time I visit Hong Kong, I stay here. The surrounding area is excellent, located in the heart of Wan Chai. It's within walking distance to the Convention and Exhibition Centre, the waterfront, and Causeway Bay. Transportation is very convenient, being close to bus stops, MTR stations, and the ferry terminal. The breakfast is great, and the hotel service is very thoughtful. The front desk even provides free travel adapters.

The location is fantastic, very close to both Wan Chai and Exhibition Centre MTR stations, making it super convenient for the subway or the Star Ferry. Plus, the super popular 'My Cup of Tea' is just a short walk downstairs. The hotel isn't brand new, but it's clean and the facilities are all there.

The hotel's transportation is quite convenient. If you're heading back to the Pearl River Delta, there's a Trans Island Limousine bus service available. There are also cha chaan tengs (Hong Kong-style diners) nearby on the ground floor, making dining easy. A pleasant walk along Hennessy Road towards Causeway Bay is also a good option.
