Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the private beach was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea views. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

The gym is quite old. The sea view room is abit rundown also. The light on the balcony is not working. Breakfast is not bad. The pool closed too early at 8pm.

Nice large beach for a young kids to play sand. Hotel is ok ok. Hotel room is still old design.

Best accomodation ever had to Kuantan. Excellent vacation with seaview room in village 1. Came to celebrate my son's 1year-old birthday. Staff reception is top notch, checking process is smooth. Breakfast has plenty of choice, with fresh juices and coffee machine served. Crowded with people on Sunday morning. Beds are comfy and clean. Walking distance to restaurants within the compound. The staff at restaurant are friendly and kind, gave us complementary slice cake for my boy's birthday.We loved the dining experience. The only thing to improve is the small fridge in hotel. It can be colder for us to store breast milk and to keep the ice gel packs frozen, please upgrade the fridge to have freezer so that we could keep milk well along journey back.

We had a great time and used the 2 different pools. However, some of the beach chairs are definitely showing its age or outright broken. Breakfast was decent. Room was decent.

Went on a short getaway with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Besides the location, the staff is definitely what makes this place so great. We were blessed to have met and communicated with amazing staff, Naza being one of them! And the young man handling the front desk who unfortunately I did not get his name. They accommodated all our asks and with such positivity and kindness ☺️ Will definitely come again whenever we need a break from work :))

Guests can enjoy KFC, Mcd, Starbucks, family mart and famost curry mee just infront of the hotel. 🍴 Food Highly recommend their breakfast buffet, is generous, featuring both local specialties such as *nasi kerabu*, *solok lada*, and *ayam bakar*, as well as international options. For dinner, the seafood buffet is highly recommended too. Especially with the relaxing seaside atmosphere at night. A standout dish is the restaurant’s roti bawang served with dhal curry, which many guests rave about. 🌿 Environment & Atmosphere The resort has been fully renovated, some with stunning sea views. The surroundings are peaceful, ideal for unwinding—whether it’s a morning walk along the beach or watching the sunset in the evening. Facilities include multiple swimming pools for both adults and children, ensuring everyone has a place to relax.
