Indra Angkor Residence

I felt the value for money was poor. There's no elevator in the hotel, and the room amenities were limited to just sandals and toothbrushes. I had booked a room with a balcony, but was told they couldn't provide it and offered a room with a bathtub instead. This wasn't really an upgrade. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful, though. Breakfast wasn't a buffet; you chose one item from a set menu, but it was delicious. The location is close enough to the city center for sightseeing, but it's a bit out of the way to the south, down a street with poor road conditions. I had stayed at a hotel in the same price range in Siem Reap until the day before, and I felt this hotel was inferior in terms of facilities, location, and service. I would have been satisfied if the price had been about 30% lower.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always anticipating our needs and responding to every request with warmth and efficiency. The peaceful garden, comfortable room, and ideal location were wonderful, but it was their genuine care that truly made our stay exceptional. We would return without hesitation!
