SHINE INN (TST Metro Station B1 Exit)

A place I could call home! Great location, great hospitality, cool and friendly owner! Basic necessities provided, comfortable stay, I’m already a repeating customer!

It was a nice family place with most of the things matching descriptions provided by the restaurant at trip.com. The staff was cooperative and very responsive to request.

I stayed here for 2 nights and would recommend it. It’s very conveniently located — about 50-60 minutes to reach by bus (A21) from HK International Airport. The bus stop is around the corner from the entrance. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the Harbour, Avenue of Stars, etc., and a 30 minute walk to West Kowloon Station, to give an idea. There’s a 7-11 just outside the entrance, an HSBC with ATMs across the street, and plenty of restaurants and so on. I’ve attached a picture of the entrance, which is across the street from Tsim Sha Tsui subway station exit B. Walk down the hall, up the stairs to the elevator, and go to floor 11. Look for the Shine Inn sign to the left of the elevator. There is a phone at the entrance with the number to call to let the host know you’re there. The room is small but comfortable and clean. You can open the windows for fresh air and there’s an AC unit that cools it down nicely. I slept well and found it very convenient for getting around HK for a couple days.

Very good location in the center, but also the room was really quiet. The elder gentleman taking care of the place was really nice and helpful.
