The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam Bangkok

Girls trip to celebrate birthday. Hotel prepare a small birthday and decorated the bed. What a lovely suprise. Thank you. Stayes in northern tower premier family room with 1 king size bed and 1 single bed. Room and toilet are big and spacious. Comes with bath tub. Facilities includes gym and swimming pools. Walking distance to central world, platinium mall and big C. 7-11 just beside hotel.

Top most unique point for this hotel is the location. Within 10min walking distance to Airport Railway Link Ratchaprarop station. Within walking distance to several breakfast shops, 7-11, McDonald's, Palladium Mall and Big C, Central World. Tuk tuk always available beside the hotel. Room is clean and they even added an extra bed without additional charge for me as we have 2 adult and 2 kids. Breakfast is good, many choices. Good to try.

The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam Bangkok was recommended by my friend who has always stay there when they visit Thailand. Location of the hotel is great and easily accessible to all the shopping areas that we want to visit. Even Erawan Shrine is also a walking distance. Hence i would say the location of the hotel is excellent and of cos without saying the staffs are friendly too. Berkeley Hotel will always be my first choice when i visit Thailand.

Additionally, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. On our first night, we stayed in two separate rooms, which were noticeably larger and a lot cheaper than the adjoining rooms we stayed in for the rest of the trip. The hotel breakfast was average and fairly standard—we only tried it once. Room cleaning service was good and consistently well done. The lemongrass drink provided in the lobby is a nice touch and adds to the overall experience. That said, there are a few downsides. The hotel does not enough elevators during crowded seasons, and it can get quite crowded, leading to long waiting times. Also, on one morning, the corridor on the 11th floor had a strong unpleasant smell (similar to urine), which affected the experience.

Really like the Hotel Services, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel room is comfortable. For the location is nice and convenient. Overall 10/10 for me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) We stayed in a Luxury Tower King room for our honeymoon, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were thoughtful and friendly — they decorated our room in advance and offered free cocktails for our celebration, which was a really sweet touch. The room was comfortable and clean, with a strong AC and all amenities provided. The shower controls were a bit tricky at first, but nothing major. Location is excellent — right near CentralWorld, easy for taxis, and mostly safe at night. Traffic noise is noticeable from higher floors, but it didn’t disturb our sleep. A couple of minor things to note: the hotel has six elevators, but we often found ourselves waiting for one, especially during busy times. Also, the “Do Not Disturb / Make My Room” switches can be confusing at first — I accidentally triggered a cleaning misunderstanding in the evening. The staff handled it very kindly, offering to fix it even after 6 PM, though we declined since we didn’t want to wait. Check-in was relatively quick, though they require a 1,000 baht security deposit (standard practice). Overall, for the price, the stay felt fair and the thoughtful touches from staff made it memorable. Highly recommended for couples or anyone looking for a central Bangkok location with comfortable rooms and attentive service.
