Amihan Beach Cabanas

It was a very great accommodation by the beach and food was amazing.

stayed at Amihan Resort for 2 nights and it was a terrible experience. There were rats inside my room for two nights, one even ran near my head while I tried to sleep and left droppings in the sink where my personal items were kept. The staff admitted that all rooms have rats and did nothing to fix the issue. I barely slept because I was so scared. This is not safe or hygienic, and I cannot recommend this resort at all.

I asked to change the dates due to the earthquake as had i travelled my insurance would be invalid. I also asked for a refund and they are ignoring my messages. Surely any decent person would understand someones safety but this hotel have taken my money and not refunded me or changed dates. Do not book with them. This is lowest of the lowest. Greedy for money

Nice, small, cozy one room bungalows located directly on the beach I the center of SantaFe. It’s easy to reach from harbor. 10-15 min walk or 200 pesos with tuctuc. The room was clean and as described from the hotel. Surprisingly is the water from the tap and shower is salt seawater in some purified way. The staff is very friendly, but a litle slow in every way. The sandbar is nice, but again you need to ask for everything instead of being offered service. During the days we spent there they where out of salat, pizza, burger, coke, and more, but nobody seemed to care. WiFi has a very week signal and TV is not functioning at all. That was a minus. When it comes to value, I had expected much more for the price. We could have left so much more money there. Location isn’t the only thing

We stayed for tree nights before christmas in one of the cozy huts of Amihan Beach Cabanas. The resort is very small, but its nice and tranquil as long is there is not alot of people near the pool. We only wish there were more sunbed possibilities in the resort, since some of the guests may be more noisy than others. It seems it is more western people that use the sunbeds. The staff is nice and the service is ok. The food at the resturant is great, and there is some breakfast to choose from. Be aware that there is a house in the back of the resort were you can hear howling roosters in the early morning. So you need to sleep with ear buds. All in all it was a great stay and I would choose this place again.
