NH Bentota Ceysands Resort

You have to take a boat to get to the hotel. It's not always convenient. You have to wait. You have to wear life jackets that are already very dirty. There's a road between the ocean and the hotel. You lie by the pool and feel the splashes. The beach is wild, without sun loungers. We were badly bitten by sand flies by the pool. It was a terrible feeling. And we were bitten three to five times a day. The food is normal. Buffet. Chicken, rice, fish. They bring large groups of retired tourists. There's a constant hubbub. Crowds. The rooms are really rundown. This is a photo of the shower. And add to that an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. The cleaning is good. The linen is clean. But the sofa upholstery is all stained. You can only sit on a towel. A few words about the staff. They are not at all customer-oriented. You come up to them, they continue talking, and then turn away. Looking for someone to give out towels at the pool.

Environment: Several swimming pools of varying sizes are very clean, and there is also a public beach area outside. Facilities: There are three restaurants to choose from, offering both buffet and à la carte options. Speedboat service is available for hop-on, hop-off service.

Reception The service was average. The hotel did not arrange the services we requested. 1. Reserve the driver's room. Our driver waited at the hotel for about an hour and a half that day. The hotel did not have a room for our driver and in the end we asked our driver to rent a room outside. As for the hotel manager, he also shied away from responsibility. He said that he had not received any information and did not make immediate response. 2. It was our birthday and wedding anniversary. The hotel did not make any arrangements. The hotel manager only said that he had not received any information to shirk the responsibility. The responsibility is given to the third party. Fortunately, the staff at 360 Restaurant are kind and provide good service, especially Suranjith and Samira. When they learned about our birthday and wedding anniversary on the day of our stay, they specially sent us cakes and celebration surprises.

I stayed at the hotel for two weeks. The hotel is located near the ocean, which was very convenient. The room was cleaned twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. After cleaning, my room was always decorated with flowers, it was very nice

One order was placed for the same three superior garden view rooms with twin beds. When we arrived at the hotel, they were all far apart. The hotel front desk said they received three orders. After checking in, we found that only one room had the garden view shown in the picture. One of the other two rooms had a balcony with a built-up wall, and the other had a king-size bed. The garden view was changed to a lake view, which was said to be an upgrade. We contacted the platform and negotiated with the hotel, but they said they were full and could not change. Finally, the platform compensated for two rooms. We hope that the platform will strengthen supervision of agents in the future to avoid such messy situations. It is a waste of time.

There were some stains on the bed linen, but apparently it just couldn't be washed out, I found one or two. Otherwise, everything was super, clean, nice to sit and the rooms are great, the hotel grounds are pleasing to the eye, as is the location itself, the beaches are clean, there are few people, it's the best place to walk and chill, the prices are reasonable. The buffet is great, the staff is pleasant to talk to.

Environment: Beautiful environment, facing the swimming pool and the beach. The sand on the beach is very fine, so you can go without shoes without worrying about the pain. Service: The cleaning staff is very enthusiastic. Every morning when I come back from playing, there are many fresh flowers on the bed and elephants and dogs made of towels, etc., which makes me feel relaxed immediately!
