Royal Cliff Grand Hotel Pattaya

The hotel may be a bit old and show signs of its age, but it more than makes up for it with its spectacular view.

It’s good, that can summarize this. The breakfast buffet was really nice and has virtually anything you want. The rooms were nice but the included drinks weren’t free, the rooms were still good and clean. Also in pools you’re spoiled for choice, there’s an infinity pool, a glass bottom pool, and others too boring to be mentioned.

The location was in a quiet place, by the beach (we had no issues moving around as we drove). The facilities were fine - I am referring to the pools and the beach. However, if you would like to use (for example) the tennis courts then be ready to pay by the hour(!). Plus, if you choose to rent a basket of tennis balls then it becomes expensive, bordering with ridiculous. The tennis courts, in our opinion, should be free like the other facilities (and other hotels which boast a tennis facility). The service was fine however, the cleanliness could improve quite a bit, e.g, the air from the air conditioning was musty and we ended up changing our room, which was marginally better.
