Right in the middle of bustling Chinatown, this hotel is a wonderfully relaxing retreat where you can completely unwind. Fantastic service and a great spot for an evening drink!

Great base from which to explore Chinatown. The room had a huge luxurious bath, enormous and very comfortable bed, atmospheric furnishings and furniture, and great service from the staff on reception and the cleaners.

The location is fantastic, right on the main street of Chinatown! The building might be a bit old, but both the interior and the rooms have been beautifully renovated. It's highly recommended for those who appreciate classic hotels. It was quiet at night, and I had a very comfortable stay. I'd love to stay here again the next time I visit Bangkok.

Spent 3 days there at end of 3 month vacation. Location in heart of Chinatown. Great jazz bar. Excellent service..... do not expect early check in. It met my expectations and my favorite Mango sticky rice stand happens to be a 2 minute walk away near the 7/11. Solitude in the middle of Chinatown Chaos

We had a X 4 poster wooden bed on a large high frame X 1 side of which was actually X 2 large beds pushed together meaning X 1 people was on the inside wedged up against a wall !!!! Totally impractical & dangerous when trying to get out of it ..... High drop down onto a concrete floor.. Usual slippers that are normally complementary... On departure the reception staff asked if I could return them .. When I questioned ...surely they won't be re-used by other guests ...I got no response.... Only If you want to keep them there is a charge of 150thai baht . Breakfast room .... The A-C was turned so low / cold that you need thermals on to try feel comfortable. Will not be returning to Shanghai mansion in the future . + No swimming pool ....

Pleasant location in the main road of China town. Stylish entree what looked a bit more overwhelming on the booking websites so therefor a bit disappointing. Clean rooms and very nice staff. We did not have dinner here. Good place to start when travelling for multiple weeks through Thailand.

What a fantastic experience! From the moment you step in, it feels like you're transported back to 1930s Shanghai. The rooms are beautifully decorated, stylish, and incredibly atmospheric. Every detail is perfect. The location is also ideal: right in the heart of Bangkok's vibrant Chinatown, so you're surrounded by the lively atmosphere, delicious street food, and culture. A unique hotel with character and charm. Absolutely highly recommended – I'd love to come back here again!
