Perfect location if you want to explore Yaowarat and the surrounding Chinatown area. The decor is very unique and a little kitschy at times, but it definitely leaves an impression and makes for a bold backdrop to your stay.
The room was clean, and the bed was large and comfortable, featuring beautiful woodwork and an eye-catching canopy design. The bathroom was also well appointed, with good water pressure and consistent hot water. The toiletries provided were a nice touch as well. I traveled solo, but I can easily see this being a great choice for couples.
On the downside, the air conditioning was quite loud, and I ended up wearing earplugs to sleep. I also found it difficult to get the temperature right, as it seemed to be either very cold or completely off. That may have been user error on my part, but it was still a minor inconvenience.
I didn't have the chance to try the property's dining options, so I can't comment on them. Too many options to explore nearby, so it wasn't compelling enough for me.
Overall, I had a pleasant and memorable stay and felt it offered good value for money. I am glad I had the chance to stay and wouldn't mind staying again but I have to say that the 4 stars rating is generous, the property it is a solid 3 stars if you really consider the facilities and services objectively aside from the experience and value so expectations for new visitors are important.
