We had a X 4 poster wooden bed on a large high frame X 1 side of which was actually X 2 large beds pushed together meaning X 1 people was on the inside wedged up against a wall !!!! Totally impractical & dangerous when trying to get out of it ..... High drop down onto a concrete floor.. Usual slippers that are normally complementary... On departure the reception staff asked if I could return them .. When I questioned ...surely they won't be re-used by other guests ...I got no response.... Only If you want to keep them there is a charge of 150thai baht . Breakfast room .... The A-C was turned so low / cold that you need thermals on to try feel comfortable. Will not be returning to Shanghai mansion in the future . + No swimming pool ....

Shanghai Mansion is one of my favorites places in Chinatown. Best location, best bar a long the main road with life music very evening. The building, the decoration and the atmosphère are just beautiful. I also recommend their delicious dishes and super copious breakfast buffet.

This place really feels luxurious and is very instagramable! The bath is a highlight; a large freestanding pool but the water can be very hot so be careful! Great location for exploring Chinatown and the nightmares and bars

Gorgeous IG hotel .All good except water pressure may vary while using. They hv a small tea gathering on 2nd floor every Thursday to Saturday afternoon with music that we really enjoyed.Breakfast is not extensive but substantial and restaurant IG worthy too.

All pretty good but plumbing work can be improved. No hot water at the shower and was eventually moved to another room on the 2nd night out of my two nights stay.
