COMO Cocoa Island

It was a great experience to stay at Como Cocoa Island!

A very large menu, a large selection of dishes, good and healthy breakfasts, very pleasant service, everyone is always smiling, but in general: being in this hotel, you feel in complete privacy, I do not recommend it with children, the best place for a honeymoon, stunning underwater world at your feet. Excellent design of houses, everything is very thought out for guests!

I am ashamed that it took me so long to write a review given the stupendous time that we had at Como Cocoa Island! We traveled here to celebrate my 40th birthday and the staff at Como Cocoa Island went above and beyond to make me feel special! My stress levels plummeted - we were SO relaxed. We traveled at the end of February and had some issues with our return flight being cancelled (going through DXB). As a result, we got a few more days at Como and got to stay in two different rooms. Our original booking was for Dhoni Loft Water Villa which we loved - I would actually say we almost preferred the Dhoni Water Villa a touch more. The seating/couch area was slightly more comfortable and it was nice to not have to go up and downstairs when you needed something from the exquisite bathroom downstairs. But both are AMAZING options with pristine views and top tier amenities. We are divers so had the opportunity to spend time out on the water enjoying the beautiful coral reefs and dive sites around the island. There are 3 reefs on the actual island themselves and there is SO much wildlife to enjoy just by snorkeling from your room. We saw nudibranchs, octopus, sharks, turtles, squid just snorkeling. While diving, we even saw a WHALE SHARK which was incredible and a first for us. A big thank you to the entire dive squad that made our trip so special - Max, Ilaria, Sharky, Ali, Saitte, Nim and Mort. We also did the night snorkel and UV tour with Ilaria which was a very unique way to see the underwater world at night! She's so well informed and passionate, we would definitely recommend! I would be remiss without mentioning the restaurant, chef and front of house staff as well. Every meal was excellent - they have theme nights but you can also order off of the regular menu. We were a little apprehensive that there was only one restaurant and that we may tire of the options but the menu is expansive and changes often for dinner. We enjoyed Chef Federico's Degustation Dinner for my birthday and he really knocks it out of the park. I can still taste the Culurgiones (smoked potato, pecorino sardo, goat cheese and dill oil ravioli)! Hindra made our time in the restaurant extremely special - he made us laugh, gave us superb recommendations and shared experiences from his home in Bali that in turn made us feel right at home. We are grateful for our friendship and his hospitality! The whole restaurant staff (Binoy, Ravi, Blu, Michael, Photo, John, Anara, Saeed, Suman, Sulthan) made us feel so welcome and special! Last, a very special thank you to Arta and her team including Wisam and Ibrihim for curating such a beautiful environment from the staff to the facilities and for making us feel extremely pampered. What could have been a rocky departure for us with a cancelled flight, they swooped right in and took the stress away from us by welcoming us for at least another night. This was my second visit, and this hotel is so perfect! Especially once again it was an unforgettable diving experience. Whether we visited the same dive sites as last year or explored new ones, every dive was exciting, beautiful, and full of surprises. We saw eagle rays, sharks, many sea turtles, Napoleon wrasse, stingrays, and dogtooth tuna, while countless colorful tropical fish decorated the reefs. The coral was mainly hard coral, but there were also beautiful overhangs covered with vibrant soft corals. Not only were the dive instructors highly professional and kind, but the boat crew was also incredibly kind and attentive, making every dive safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. I have visited the Maldives over 10th times, and in my opinion, this resort offers the best collection of dive sites I have experienced. Thank you all for another wonderful holiday. I hope to dive with you again in the near future!

First of all, I have been to many places. Dare i said i know how a luxury resort should be like, inside out. Something about COMO Cocoa Island that i found very different; I can read the owner’s vision through guests experience. The Resort is small, but you can see Luxury at every corners. The Villa is very simple, classy, elegant and beautiful, the little details, such as the small-old fashion clock by the bed, that being highlight of the room. The team are so warm and professional, Thank you Binoy and IVD team for the In Room Dining, you guys provided a seamless yet touched and efficient service. Phoo and Ufaa team are so friendly, helpful and professional. Oh! I like Como Shambala Iced Tea that Phoo recommened, it taste absolutely increadible, exactly how healthy drinks i wish would taste like :) Thanks to Blu&Ravi at Faru Bar, the cocktails were amazing! You must try Como Shambala Signature Treatments, my husband and i loved it so much. Heart full thank you to Nok, Lalita and Tari, the treatment we had is our favorite experience. Also i would like to sincerely thank the housekeeping team, especially Hood and Aman. We loved how the way they put attention to details. I could go on and on but it would never end, cs this was a ultimate amazing memories i’d hold dear. Thanks Artha, Wisam, Ibbe, Janani and the whole COMO family. hoping to see you all again soon.

Weve been to 4 comos in the span of the last 3 months. Cocoa Island has been the most incredible experience. The staff. The food. The beach. The massages. Truly everything. Thank you Cocoa Island thank you Muru for such a genuine and personalized butler service. It was a joy to see you every morning and to receive your kindness. Wisam, ibrahim, Naendra, Ravi, Yuka and everyone else with such a genuine smile on their faces all the time I couldn’t mention by name. All of you. Thank you!

This is by far the best resort we have visited. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive, warm, and genuinely kind, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Our villa was beautifully maintained and impeccably clean, with housekeeping servicing it twice a day. The food was exceptional, and we especially appreciated the attention to detail, many of the jams and sauces were made from scratch, which added a wonderful homemade touch to every meal. The views were simply breathtaking. Whether from our villa or any part of the resort, the ocean scenery, the beaches were picture-perfect and unforgettable. A special thank you to the team at the sea sports center for the guided snorkeling experience. The instructor explained everything clearly and patiently, making it easy for our daughters, aged 8 and 10, to understand the instructions and feel comfortable in the water. They absolutely loved snorkeling and had an amazing time. We spotted fishes, young black tip shark and sting ray just outside the villa. It was amazing. We wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a truly memorable, peaceful getaway. Thank you to the entire team for an incredible stay, we hope to return again soon!

I had an amazing vacation from start to finish. The entire crew and staff were absolutely spectacular. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful, and made the whole trip feel effortless and fun. They were always there for anything we needed and truly went above and beyond to make the experience special. The diving and snorkeling were incredible, some of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the food was amazing, and every detail of the resort felt perfect. Everything exceeded expectations, and I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation.
