I cannot understand the negativity of the last review. This place is close to PERFECT. We visited as UK family of 4. This is a gated resort, 30 mins or so walk from the lake. It is relatively isolated but this makes it wonderful. It’s small enough not to feel busy. We couldn’t believe it was the middle of the summer holidays. We literally had the main pool to ourselves most days with 95% of sun beds available. It felt wonderful. There are numerous little apartments and rooms located around the most gorgeous and well kept grounds. Green and lush with gorgeous flowers everywhere. The main restaurant is underneath a green canopy and absolutely lovely. Pools were warm and really well maintained. Special mention to the life guard at the main restaurant pool who kept the pool impeccable, testing the water, and clearing up regularly. We had a heart stopping moment when our toddler daughter ran ahead of us and jumped into the pool with no life vest on. The lifeguard dived into the pool within seconds and scooped her out before she even hit the bottom. He was amazing and really reassuring to know the pool is monitored so well. Kids happy with the entertainment. It wasn’t full On or all day.. an hour in the morning and some activities in the evening. There is a little Shetland pony that kids can ride twice a week and some electric cars that can be ridden round the resort. One restaurant with normal Italian food, pasta pizza etc. I’d suggest this could get monotonous if you were there more than a few days. Please note if you leave the resort, about 10 mins walk away there is a lovely square with restaurants and a bakery etc to mix things up. Majority of people here tend to use the self catering option and cook in their apartment. Breakfast available for 15 Euro pp. under 5s eat free. Could be improved as run out of bread quite early .. basic breakfast. Nice enough for a couple Of days but again, can become monotonous. Pancakes for the kids. We did not have a car and came from train station. In the heat it was a long walk down to the beach and a steep walk back up. We did manage ok but again, 15 mins walk away to nearest supermarket. Which in the heat appeared long. However it is manageable. I would suggest if your there for a few days like us and happy with relaxing by the pools and a few walks out you can manage without a car but taxis are near impossible To get here so if you want drives out etc you need a car. This place is wonderful.. Can’t recommend enough
