Holiday Inn TIANJIN RIVERSIDE by IHG

Whenever I visit Tianjin, this is the only hotel I stay at. The location is superb, the staff are enthusiastic, the breakfast is plentiful, and the rooms are spacious. Highly recommended!

The breakfast seriously doesn't justify the 1000+ RMB price tag. The selection was poor, and the winter melon was undercooked. The Jianbing Guozi (fried pancake) and Youtiao (fried dough sticks) were clearly leftovers that had been reheated. It wasn't even 10 AM, and the restaurant staff were already clearing the food labels. Absolutely terrible.

I've stayed at many hotels along the Hai River, such as The St. Regis, Shangri-La, Banyan Tree, and Astor Hotel. Holiday Inn Haihe is one of the more value-for-money options. I used to stay here frequently a few years ago, and this was my first time back recently. While the facilities are showing a bit of age, the overall cleanliness and service are still excellent. It seemed there were many medical conference attendees checking in during my stay. As a long-time member, they specially upgraded my room to a 180° panoramic suite! The view was truly amazing 👍. They also gave me a complimentary tonic water for being a returning guest. The bedding and other amenities were clean and comfortable as well.

A very nice hotel, clean and hygienic. The breakfast is excellent and varied; I highly recommend trying the noodles, they're delicious. The view is also great, and the snacks in the room are a nice touch.

The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They even provided complimentary welcome fruits! The hotel's location is also convenient, and the room I chose this time had an amazing view, especially at night. I will definitely book here again on my next visit!

Great service, though as an older hotel, the facilities are a bit dated. Otherwise, everything else is quite good.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now, and I want to express my gratitude to Xiao Hua for her attentive care. She kindly upgraded me to a room with a beautiful view, and the hotel's location is truly excellent.

Conveniently located right next to the Tianjin Eye and Haihe River Pier, and just a few minutes' walk from Dabei Temple. It's incredibly easy to access dining, shopping, and sightseeing. The front desk staff were warm and efficient during check-in. The breakfast is a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, and the *jianbing guozi* (savory crepes) were delicious. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but everything else was great.

This was my second stay here, and this time I chose a room with a view of the Ferris wheel, which was fantastic. The service was excellent in every aspect. Right downstairs is the boat pier, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the Tianjin Eye, plus there are plenty of places to grab snacks. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for future visits.
