Hanoi House Hotel & Travel

Located in Hanoi's Old Quarter, this hotel is highly recommended due to its proximity to many convenient facilities such as restaurants, supermarkets, and shops, as well as tourist attractions. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and kind. The hotel's airport transfer service (350,000 VND, or about 2,100 JPY one way) is reasonably priced and a reliable option. For breakfast, I ordered the highly-rated ham and cheese omelet every day, which was delicious. There were also many other Vietnamese dishes, such as pho, and the fruit buffet was a highlight.

I stayed in room 805. The bathroom door, which also leads outside, only had an inner lock. This means someone could enter from the outside. Luckily, nothing happened during my three-day stay. Also, there's no partition between the shower and toilet in the bathroom, so the whole room gets wet when you shower. I wondered if I was assigned a room that was still under renovation. Since the price was cheaper, I'm just leaving this as feedback. I assume rooms other than 805 are probably good. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind, which was a plus. Just be careful with the room.

We booked this hotel for one night and were really impressed with the staff. They speak English and are very eager to help. The hotel is located in the lively Old Quarter, and the room was clean and perfectly adequate for three people for one night. There are plenty of shops and cafes nearby. Breakfast is à la carte.

The cleanliness was acceptable, and the location in the Old Town was very convenient. The facilities were basic and a bit old-fashioned, but the breakfast selection was excellent and outstanding. The service staff were polite, responsible, and helpful, going above and beyond to resolve guest issues and even offering a free room upgrade, which was a huge bonus. If you're not overly demanding, I highly recommend this place.

The hotel's location is its main advantage, and the front desk staff were very friendly. However, the hairdryer kept overheating and shutting off before I could dry my hair. Also, there was construction on the pedestrian walkway in front of the hotel in the early hours, with banging and knocking that made it hard to sleep. The hotel itself was also undergoing renovations early in the morning. Not providing a quiet environment is a major drawback. (The service attitude was good though).

The lady at the front desk was very kind, and the room was quite nice too.
