Baihe Wharf Inn

The absolute best hotel that we’ve stayed at in China, it’s an absolute bargain for the price that you pay. The rooms are spotless, the beds are comfy, and the view over the river and ancient town is incredible. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, giving us tips and recommendations for our stay as well as pick-up/drop-off to the train station and arranging discounted tickets for the scenic area. It was an amazing stay here and I’d 1000% stay again!

One of the highlights of our China trip! The Inn is in a traditional house right inside the scenic area. It has a semi open stairway leading up to the highest floor and a beautiful terrace adjacent to our room. The view was incredible and the room was so beautifully designed and really spacious. For an old building like this one, it had a wonderful mix between modern and historical. The room had ac and tv as well as a modern bathroom. The receptionist speaks good English and was very helpful with organizing transport from and to the train station as well as giving us recommendations on what to see and eat in the town. As a parting gift we revived some local tea in a little ceramic dish. I would definitely choose this place again if I decide to come back to Furong Town. It’s a magical place, honestly.

The views were incredible, with a balcony to the river. At night the ambient is spectacular. The staff was very very kind and incredibly helpful Very recommended 🫰🏻

I had a great time at the Inn. Although it was only for one night, it was conveniently located in the Ancient Town. Rooms were very clean. The receptionist/owner Zhang Li is the sweetest lady! She is extremely kind. They offered to pick us from the railway station, offered a discount on the entry tickets to the ancient town, and even gave us wonderful welcome and going away presents! Highly recommend this place. The town itself was a little disappointing, with overpriced restaurants everywhere. Even the food was not good, with too much oil used in the cooking. On the other hand, Baihe Wharf Inn was extremely good. Even the breakfast was small, simple but just enough. Thank you Zhang Li!!
