Baihe Wharf Inn

We stayed at Baihe Wharf Inn for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The old wooden building has so much character and charm, and our room was comfortable, clean and welcoming. The view was beautiful, overlooking the steps across the river and back towards the bridge. A lovely setting to relax and take in the atmosphere of Furong Town. Breakfast was lovely too and a wonderful way to start the day. A charming place to stay, and somewhere we would happily recommend!

The hotel staff were lovely. They arranged the pick up from the train station which was seamless. The location is great and the view from our room was lovely. It’s not the big waterfall view but the bridge which was still amazing and we had a balcony which overlooked the bridge and lovely buildings. The traditional style was reflected in the rooms which was exactly what we were looking for but still the comfort of new amenities like the shower, bathroom and kettle. We had to leave early in the morning to catch a train and they did up a breakfast bag for us to take with us which was so lovely. Also some of the most comfortable beds we had along our 2 week trip. Would 10/10 stay here again and recommend to everyone.

Great location in the middle of the ancient town. The room was lovely, clean and the view was perfect right onto the river. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was nice too.

The room was smaller then we expected but the hotel was great nonetheless, the staff was very kind amd helpful and the hotel location amd view out of the window was wonderful.

I had the absolute best stay at Baihe Wharf Inn! Zhang Li was so lovely and helpful and spoke very good English. The hotel itself is a stunning old traditional wooden building, excellent vibe, wonderful smell of incense around - don't forget to take a look at the communal space on the top floor! The room itself was huge and very clean, and the balcony had the most incredible view overlooking the town and the river. I spent a lot of time taking in the view and wishing that I was staying there for longer. The location is amazing, the service was amazing, I had a complimentary pick-up from Furongzhen station, and I even got a wonderful free gift of tea in a beautiful porcelain pot upon departure! The breakfast was fairly limited, but other than that I honestly can't fault it and would book it again in a heartbeat! I have uploaded a bunch of photos with my review that hopefully capture how magical a place it is. Thank you Zhang Li and thank you Baihe Wharf Inn!

The place is located on one of the most beautiful streets in Furong and is lovely both inside and out. Our room was very comfortable and had an amazing view. But the biggest highlight was definitely the staff. They were extremely helpful, attentive and kind throughout our stay. They organized our pickup, tickets for the ancient town and our drop off, which made everything so easy for us. Breakfast was also delicious. Everything tasted homemade and was honestly better than what we’ve had in some well known chain hotels. We totally recommend this place. Thank you so much for making our stay in Furong so enjoyable!

A small hotels with a small balcony facing the river. The hotel is very close to the entrance which makes it very convenient. Furlong town is a closed area with no vehicle access. Bringing luggage to town requires you to walk in the cobble stones with all of your belongings. But the hotel provides a shuttle service for free from the train station and the hotel staff happily helped you carrying your stuffs. This is one of the things that I really enjoyed while I was China. These people will go their way to help you and make your stay comfortable. Using WeChat to communicate, they will answer and provide anything that you ask for. I love this small hotel because of the location, cleanliness and the service. They also gave us a small parting gift at the end. A small gesture but leave a lasting impression. 

Beautiful old building set directly on the river frount, magical view of the bridge directly from our balcony, we very much loved the small touches like the tea ceremony set on the balcony that made our stay here even more enjoyable. Charming and I keeping with the village best hotel in the city! And a lovely beakfast and transport to the train station to boot. Couldn’t recommend more!

Beautiful hotel at a very convenient location. The staff were the warmest staff I met ,much appreciated. Highly recommended ❤️
