Be ware that a “preferred room” means a room pets can stay in, not a better room! Hallways smelled of itine on side of hotel where pets are allowed. No elevator so mugging suitcases and skis up stairs was trying. Room size large.staff. Staff we dealt with was lovely!

Shuttle if very efficient and the wait is never long to get to the slopes and village area. Great area for walks and/or with dogs. Although I was hoping for pancakes or waffles with the continental breakfast but was great nonetheless. Had dinner reservations in the village and the shuttle was the way to go on a super cold night. It’s just what you need to be comfortable. Hot tub and sauna was refreshing. I’d would deff recommend staying there again.

We loved our stay at the Black Bear! The check-in went smoothly with desk staff, Noah. She was very helpful and went over everything about our stay. The room was very clean. The hot tub was very nice and clean and a welcome after a day on the slopes. The shuttle to the mountain was great and ran frequently. The breakfast was always hot and had many options. We would definitely stay there again!

Clean spacious room, friendly staff. Steps away from the mountain. The village was nice with their shops, a convenient market, restaurants and coffee shops. virtually no wait for the shuttle to/from the Mtn so no need to drive. Downfall- We were on the first floor. It sounded like a family of elephants was in the room above, worst part.

The heating unit is quite loud and one is not able to leave the fan on in heat mode so when it cycles it is very irritating. Stomping noises transmit from floor above.

Breakfast was great. They had a ton of snow prior to my arriving, and you needed 4x4 to park. The lot was full with cars so they couldn't plow it properly. Would stay again.

Very convenient location with shuttle to the mountain but also within a short walk to the village for dinner etc...Rooms are a bit worn as most older ski hotels but clean. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Hot tub is nice but not big enough for the crowd they get & its super noisy. Be aware rooms do not have a refrigerator. Buffet breakfast is a nice perk.

It took over an hour to have dinner served even though the restaurant ws only 1/4 filled. The floor in my room was not clean. Location is good. Bus service is good. Bar not very well stocked as they didn't even have Cabernet.
