This is the worst hotel I've ever been to. It starts with the receptionist scamming you into paying extra for your room, and ends with the quality of the room and the unfriendly staff. The reception staff is completely incompetent, unable to fulfill any requests the first time. It looked like they were just visiting the hotel for the first time or just passing by. It was clear they couldn't care less about the hotel or its reputation. Also, the extra charge: the reviews for the room we booked featured photos of a room with a waterfront view (over 20 reviews). I'd asked in advance for a room on a higher floor by email because we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived to check in and were given a room on the second floor with a view of a wall 😂. The girl then proceeded to convince me that they don't have a room with that view, only a suite, and that you have to pay an extra 1,200 yuan for that! She also said she'd read my email, which I'd sent a week earlier, but for some reason hadn't bothered to respond. My best guess is that they were waiting for me to arrive to catch me off guard. Otherwise, if I'd known in advance that my room had a view of a wall, I probably would have canceled the reservation. But then, how wonderfully they handled it: they read my email, didn't respond, told me that more than 20 people in their reviews were lying, and then forced me to pay an extra 1,200 yuan. The whole situation felt like such a huge scam from the very beginning. Since we arrived in the afternoon and had no other options, we stayed. I bitterly regretted it. As I mentioned earlier, the staff is unhelpful. The rooms are very tired, as if they hadn't been renovated in 10 years (and that's true, judging by the comments). They're dark and gloomy. I turned on all the lights and it was still dark, the shower leaked, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The only thing I liked was the cute robot food delivery person. I wrote a review of the hotel on my blog and gave a negative recommendation to friends. This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't at least been cheated out of my money. Therefore, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone; they clearly don't value their guests and it's suitable for a one-night stay at most if there are no other options.
