The bed was very comfortable and the environment was excellent, with a balcony offering mountain views. The service was top-notch. On the first day, there was a mix-up with my room during check-in, and Kalekuang helped me with my luggage, providing excellent service and a great emotional experience – I really appreciate their help. During check-out, Juliancheng helped me carry my luggage downstairs, which was also fantastic service. I'll definitely come back next time, thanks for your assistance! However, the air conditioning in each room only goes down to 18° without making noise, which is a bit strange and the first time I've encountered something like this. It caused me to lose sleep for two nights, and the cold brought on my arthritis, leaving me in pain for several days. When the central air conditioning wasn't set properly and I set it to 25°, I was woken up in the middle of the night by a creaking sound from the AC. Ugh, it led to two sleepless nights. Choosing the wrong hotel was really upsetting.

Thanks for the wonderful stay at the end of March 2026. After a long trip through Guizhou we were absolutely delighted about the room and the services at the Holiday Inn Resort Qingyan. Breakfast offers all sorts of food, the chefs are very welcoming and offer a broad variety of soup, vegetables, bakery, cereals...whatever you wish it will be there. Don't miss the large and elegant swimming pool. Very relaxing after all the walks in Qingyan Ancient Town. The walk to the Ancient Town is very short, it leads you along the fields where farmers grow their products. Nice walk!! Just across the main Hotel entrance you will find a small shop with everything you may need - food and non-food Don't miss the close monastery with the tall pagoda! It's more than worth to see one Temple building after another surrounded by wonderful nature. All in all the Holiday Inn Resort gave us an unforgettable and relaxing time! Thanks to all Service personal, we don't know all names but would like also to mention great support by Vivian, Elena, Mia and Leo Li, who organized cheap and quick transfer to Guiyang. We will definitely come back one day!

The stay was good. Everything was as expected. They provide self service laundry too but there were only 2 machines too so I had to wait in a long line even at 11pm and finished my laundry past midnight.

We booked four rooms, and all of them were assigned to the worst possible locations. The rooms were tiny, and one of the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned at all – it smelled of urine and had stains. When we reported this to the front desk, all they said was, 'Then just change rooms.' There was not a single apology throughout the entire interaction. Is the InterContinental brand really that prestigious? We paid 500 yuan just to experience this kind of service. The next day, we promptly switched to Jinjiang. Definitely avoiding this place in the future.
