Waldorf Astoria Chengdu

Very satisfied with my stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu. Gorgeous high-floor night views of the Twin Towers, spacious rooms with comfortable bedding, and Aesop toiletries. The butler service was attentive, the breakfast was rich and varied, and it's located right above the Yintai Centre with easy access to taxis.

The hotel's design texture and quality maintain the consistent standard of the Waldorf Astoria. What satisfied me the most was the design and selection of the in-room facilities, which are distinct yet textured. There is no affected cleverness or pandering just for the sake of being unique. A balance of poise and practicality, it remains trustworthy.

The decor style is a bit dated, and you can tell the hotel has some age in many places. The curtains felt cheap, and that electric kettle was just too tacky 😅😅😅 There were kids being taught in the pool, screaming and making too much noise.

The Waldorf Astoria Chengdu lives up to its reputation for quality. The rooms are clean and elegant, and the service is attentive and meticulous. The hotel has a fantastic ambiance, making for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend it for both family trips and business travel.

The front desk lady upgraded us for free to a room with a lake view! It was quite beautiful, and breakfast was delicious too. The location is convenient, right above in99, so there are plenty of dining options. The only thing is that we went for afternoon tea a bit late, and all the cakes were sold out. But overall, I was satisfied. They even delivered things to our room, and everyone was very attentive during our stay. When we checked out, they even gave us dust bags, which was a thoughtful touch.

The room was spacious, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Intime Department Store, so you can go shopping as soon as you step out. I even got to experience a coffee festival with many Korean and Japanese baristas.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was prompt. Overall, a good experience. The location on Tianfu Avenue is very convenient for getting around, and they were helpful in accommodating my check-in requests. I would definitely stay here again.

This was my first stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu, and it was a great experience. First off, every time we arrived or departed, the staff at the entrance were incredibly prompt in opening car doors and helping with luggage. The Chinese restaurant offers fantastic views of the Chengdu Twin Towers, and the food was delicious. While we were having lunch, they courteously brought our luggage up to our room for us. The rooms at the Waldorf Astoria are always quite spacious for their category, with an excellent and comfortable layout. Even though it was just a one-night stay, the experience was wonderful, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.
