Sokchea Kampot Hotel

The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, and the swimming pool was beautiful and well maintained. The hotel is a little outside the town center. The hotel is peaceful, clean, and surrounded by beautiful greenery

Amazing hotel near all the activities of kampot. Highly recommended for families and also a friends traveling.

I costed me $38 and I stayed here for a night. I came here as a solo traveler and booked a double room with balcony. There was a big pool on the first floor. The location of the hotel was decent, although the road to the hotel was pretty rocky and deserted, kind of in the middle of nowhere and I’m unsure of how safe it is during the night seeing as there’s not many lamp posts. The room is great and spacious. The bathroom was spacious and the room was nicely decorated. You can watch YouTube on the TV but like most hotels the smart TV doesn’t really work properly so Netflix didn’t work. The amenities they offered were enough, they provided a refrigerator, hair dryer and all the other necessities that a standard hotel would provided. Although the bathroom would flood due to how far the drain was from the shower head, you can just move the shower head closer to the drain so it would not flood the whole bathroom. Everything was clean. But there was a minor mosquito problem when I woke up in the morning. Bathroom door lock doesn’t really work properly, butyou just have to pull it a bit harder. The service was great, the staff were helpful and communicative. I got an avocado toast and milk coffee for brunch at the restaurant, it was good. I would come back here when I return to Kampot!

I stayed four nights at Sokchea Kampot Hotel in Kampot. This wasn’t my first time — last year I stayed 10 nights and had a good experience. Unfortunately, this visit felt different. On my first day, after checking in around 3pm and going out for dinner, I returned to find a cockroach walking on my bed — bigger than I would ever want to see. Staff removed it, but it was hard to relax that night. The next day I asked for the sheets to be changed. They only made the bed, and the same stain was still there. After asking a second time and explaining why, they finally replaced them. That same day, there was no proper housekeeping. The bathroom trash was not emptied, and I had to ask for toilet paper as it wasn’t replaced. For a hotel of this type, I don’t think that’s acceptable. There is also construction next to the hotel, with loud noise from 8am to 5pm, making it less relaxing — especially when trying to enjoy the pool, which is probably the hotel’s main positive point

Feel so good around and really nice

We liked the pool a lot and the hotel is fairly nice but what we really didn’t like were all the potholes leading from the main road I would estimate about 1 kilometer long at least Granted the hotel can’t legally repave the road but they could fill in all the potholes with gravel Our residential neighborhood is having the same problem but all the neighbors contributed money and time to fill all our potholes Especially when the hotel is building a whole other wing and construction trucks with materials are usually the main culprits during the rainny

Very nice stay. Friendly staff. Clean and relaxed environment. Highly recommend it!

We've stayed at this hotel 3 times already. The best hotel for a family gathering. Highly recommended!
