Ananti at Busan Cove

The room was neat and clean with double vanity sinks in the bathroom. The sunrise and ocean views were both wonderful.

A modern and tech-forward hotel complete with a shopping mall, bookstore, cafes, and restaurants all in one place. The views are stunning, and the infinity pool and open-air hot springs are absolute favorites. You won't feel bored even after staying for several days.

The hotel environment and cleanliness were excellent. No need for a power adapter, as domestic chargers work directly. The only drawback is that there are no staff on the first floor. The hotel is quite large, and check-in is on the 10th floor, which took a while to find. When checking in, I asked several staff members, and none of them spoke Chinese. The pick-up service was very punctual, with an Ananti sign. It takes about 50 minutes to get to the hotel.

The hotel has a great design with picturesque views at every turn. The amenities are comprehensive, featuring shops, a 24-hour convenience store, and a variety of dining options ranging from fine dining to fast food. The rooms are spacious, and the ocean-view rooms offer fantastic vistas, perfect for watching the sunrise. The multiple swimming pools are very clean, and the hot spring shower area is spacious and fully stocked with bath amenities. It's ideal for those who enjoy a slow-paced getaway—swimming, taking leisurely strolls, soaking in the hot springs, and enjoying aesthetic meals.

The room facilities seemed a bit dated. The door didn't have a deadbolt, which was quite scary. I had to barricade the door with a chair. I really wouldn't recommend it for a solo female traveler. On Monday, I was woken up at 3 AM by the sound of doors slamming and shouting from next door; the soundproofing is terrible. The 'king-size bed' was actually two twin beds pushed together, and sleeping in the middle felt like there was a gap, which was just ridiculous.

The room walls were dirty, hangers were moldy and broken. The location is remote, and it doesn't justify the high price. Service was also mediocre; they didn't reply to four emails requesting a shuttle. Trip.com customer service, however, was excellent! 👍👍👍

Chinese people, I suggest you don't come here. From start to finish, I didn't feel like I received the service expected for this price point. I booked a triple room for two adults and one child (Korean hotels charge per person, so a room costs less if there are fewer people). The hotel didn't provide a single toothbrush; toothbrushes were charged extra. The default two bathrobes in the room also incurred a charge for an additional one. The room included two free tickets to the outdoor pool, but extra tickets were charged. The tents in the middle of the outdoor pool also cost extra. Even asking for an extra blanket at night came with an additional fee. The main issue I have is that I paid for three people, but I only experienced services for two. The sea view is indeed beautiful, but only from a few specific spots seen in photos. Overall, my feeling is that staying at this hotel means carrying your credit card from beginning to end, where money is discussed before any product or service.

The original Hilton Busan had excellent facilities. The twin beds were huge, either 1.2 or 1.5 meters each. There were also many swimming pools. On the day we visited, Busan was experiencing its hottest summer in 122 years at 38 degrees Celsius, but it also brought the most beautiful sunset. It was quite cool at night though! The buffet dinner, while a bit pricey, was made with quality ingredients! The hotel is a bit far from Busan city center, but the hotel itself is like a small town where you can find food and drinks.
