Ascott Raffles City Chongqing was easily one of the best hotel experiences we had during our trip, and probably our favourite stay in Chongqing. The location is incredible, right in the heart of the city, and the views and atmosphere make the whole experience feel very special. The room was extremely clean, spacious, modern and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The facilities were excellent and the overall standard of the property was very high. What impressed us most was the combination of the location, service and quality. The staff were professional, welcoming and helpful, and everything from check-in to our stay felt smooth and well organised. As a couple, we absolutely loved staying here. Being inside Raffles City and so close to everything made exploring Chongqing incredibly convenient. If we return to Chongqing, this would definitely be our first choice. Highly recommended.

The location is excellent, right in Raffles City, next to Chaotianmen, and just a few minutes' walk to Pier 7. There's a dedicated attendant on the hotel's LG floor. The lobby on the first floor is elegant, and the service is warm. The room comes fully equipped with a direct drinking water dispenser, coffee machine, oven, induction hob, and a complete set of pots and pans. You'll also find a dining table, coffee table, sofa, and bathtub – nothing is missing. All the appliances are high-end imported brands, the air conditioning is powerful, and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but everything is exquisite and delicious. My only regret was finding half a toothpick in the fried chicken. What's truly great about this hotel is that the staff didn't constantly solicit good reviews like in some other hotels; they proved themselves through their excellent service throughout our stay.

A wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the mini apartment style room. Lovely and clean, with a pretty good view in certain angles. Our view is included, however this was side on, so you are directly looking at another building but we still thought this was good. Also laundry and playroom features included.

Fantastic stay. Rooms were very large and clean. Amazing views from the rooms. Service was exceptional. They even helped me mail extra luggage back home. And when I forgot my sunglasses, they help me mail back as well. They also helped arrange transport and driver for touring the city. Food was good. Exceptional overall.

The cleaning staff were all very friendly and attentive. The front desk staff, including the restaurant servers, were always smiling and had excellent attitudes. The receptionist downstairs who helped with luggage (I think his name was David) was very enthusiastic and always helped us park our car in the right spot. The hotel also provided a complimentary晚安粥 (late-night porridge), which was a really thoughtful touch! Overall, I felt the hotel was very considerate.

The location is absolutely unbeatable, right inside the Raffles City shopping complex at Chaotianmen. Downstairs, you'll find shops, a supermarket, and restaurants. It's walking distance to Chaotianmen Square and a 10-minute taxi ride to Hongya Cave. Chaotianmen subway station is also within walking distance, making it very convenient to get to Jiefangbei and the Xiaoshizi Yangtze River Cableway. Getting to Jiangbei Airport by taxi takes about 25-30 minutes. The river view is incredibly strong. The best hotel in Chongqing! It was very Western-style. We booked a suite with two bedrooms (each with a king-size bed), two bathrooms, a washer/dryer, and a living room... it was amazing! Next time we come back, we'll book it again without question. The location is another reason you need this hotel—it's right next to the Raffles City mall, and the pool is very nice!
