Hampton Inn & Suites Mystic

Very clean hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is great and indoor pool is clean.

Stayed just for night but loved it. We stayed in King room and it was big. The indoor pool was great thing too. Free parking outside the hotel and within hotel grounds was excellent. And just a 10-15 min drive to Mystic and Groton. A great stay for the price.

Good hotel. Convenient location and dog friendly (Although you wouldn't know that pets were there. Dogs -- and their families -- were well behaved and tidy).

Breakfast was chaos and table were not clean. Ran out of milk at 9am. If you want hot water for tea at night you may as well use the microwave to heat the water

Great location aquarium and shops. 20 minute walk to bridge area. Breakfast was a plus. Welcoming staff.

My family and I stayed for only one night. The hotel was clean, and the room felt brand-new, as the property is currently undergoing renovations. The pool area needs better ventilation; it feels very enclosed and has a strong smell of chlorine. The snack area is quite small and offers very few options. The breakfast was the worst part—absolutely horrible—with very limited choices and a cramped layout. But worst of all was the staff. They offered no welcome, didn't smile, weren't friendly, provided no guidance to guests, and didn't appear available or willing to provide customer service. One suggestion: they should wear uniforms so that staff members can be easily identified. Ultimately, after staying at various Hampton Inn hotels across different states, this particular location is certainly not my top choice.

Although the lobby area was under renovation it did not impact our stay. The room was spacious and clean and looked like maybe it was also recently renovated. Comfortable bed too.

Breakfast was terrible. Selection was minimal for Hampton Inn standards. Juice machine was broken, so they had small prepackaged containers. They had prepackaged breakfast sandwiches and waffles with no microwave to warm them. The hot foods were barely warm but again there was no way to make them warmer. They are undergoing construction so parts of the facility were blocked off and there was a lot of noise because of it. Parking was good and convenient. All the staff attire was hoddies with staff across the back. Some actually had their hoods up most of the time. Not what you expected for a Hilton property

They were renovating. No gym, no pool or business center available but they still charged full price. The entire place smelled of industrial glue- for carpets or mounding. But don’t worry they had ear plugs available in a basket at the front desk that was supposed to help you not hear all the construction work inside and out in the parking lot
