Extremely satisfied, extremely satisfied, extremely satisfied! This is a four-star hotel with warm and enthusiastic service. My experience is limited, but the seafood paella at breakfast was the best I've ever had – I couldn't resist having two bowls! The view from the window is also captivating. Highly, highly recommend!

Facilities: The room view is good, that's the only positive. Cleanliness: Shockingly bad! Incredibly dirty! There were nail clippings left by previous guests on the tatami, along with contact lenses and feathers – and we were there in summer, so those feathers must have come from winter down jackets, imagine that! A thick layer of dust on the bedside table! Dust all over the clothes rack and TV! Biscuit crumbs on the windowsill, and the sofa cover was full of old stains! It was truly shocking how dirty it was! Environment: As an old hotel, the lighting is very poor! It was dark and gloomy! There were hordes of tour groups and Korean tourists, and with such poor hygiene and high traffic, we didn't dare use the hot springs. Service: The front desk service was mediocre, neither good nor bad. We encountered serious hygiene issues and needed to switch hotels, but initially, the manager wanted us to pay the price difference?! Thankfully, after some strong reasoning, the hotel manager agreed to let us change hotels without extra charges and even drove us there. When traveling, it's important to be firm but not unreasonable, and to stand up for your rights without being bullied.

Everything was excellent, from the welcome drinks and thoughtful amenities to the comfortable beds. The highlight, however, is the breakfast. It’s definitely worth it, but be sure to go early as the queue gets quite long later in the morning. If I had one small complaint, it would be the wooden bathroom door, which tends to slam shut quite loudly. Other than that, it’s a fantastic hotel in a great location, and I’d happily stay here again.

Love the hotel very much, the location is amazing, close to everything you need! The front desk even show us an amazing sashimi place!

❌ Avoid this hotel at all costs! The hygiene is terrible – dirty, sticky, and subpar. When I booked, it clearly stated daily room cleaning, but they only grudgingly cleaned it after I had to argue with them. This isn't a service-oriented hotel at all. If there had been any availability at Tokyo Stay, I would never have booked here. The only good thing is the 13th-floor hot spring ♨️ – the views and the natural blood-red water are great, but the overall hygiene there is still very poor. Oh, and they definitely discriminate against women. Usually, the male and female hot spring baths switch daily, but here, the women's bath doesn't have a view of the ocean or the sunset. Ladies, be warned! The rooms are the dark type, maybe so you don't notice the dirty corners? All the furniture was sticky. Check out my photos!

The view is absolutely unbeatable! I stayed in the annex last time, and while the main building is a bit dated, the incredible scenery makes up for everything. The room size was just right, and the cleanliness was acceptable. Breakfast was definitely plentiful and delicious, better than the annex in my opinion, but in other aspects, the annex was superior. The front desk staff were quite good, but the other staff were just so-so, treating both Japanese and foreigners with the same rather indifferent attitude. Also, there's no private onsen (hot spring bath). Checkout was super easy and self-service.

It was a nice stay with pleasant Onsen experience. Breakfast was amazing with their self made Kaisendon. Definitely will come again.

Both the service and the structure could be improved, with more attention to cleaning (especially for dust). During breakfast the staff was very rude to us, to the point of not even returning our greeting. I wouldn’t go back.
