Residence Inn Danbury

Great hotel for an overnight stay or longer stay with the kitchen and other amenities inside. Would come again 😊.

The hotel was okay. But there was a lot of annoyances that collectively make it so that we would stay here again. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was good with good selection. The rug in our room go soaked from the AC unit. The gym is very small and would be uncomfortable if more than one person was working out at a time. The bathrooms next to the gym/pool were locked in the mornings. The parking lot is kind of a mess and crammed. And what I least appreciated, was room service knocking on our door WELL BEFORE check out time to ask if we were leaving, even with the do not disturb sign hanging on the door.

Front desk staff were extremely helpful, polite , friendly and welcoming. We were tired from traveling and hungry, they recommended a restaurant very close that turned out to be a hidden gem, Chuck’s, food and service was excellent! Staff in breakfast area were very friendly as well!

We loved this property. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Very clean rooms. The pool was clean and we had it to ourselves. Will definitely stay here again.

The only problem was i came Saturday afternoon at 1pm and left Monday 6:45am no one once cleaned or offered to give clean linens or wash cloths and towels

The staff were very helpful, although they seemed to be under-manned. We were disappointed that there was no house-keeping. We had booked for 2 nights and nobody made up the room for the second day. When you stay at a Marriott you expect housekeeping to make up the bed and furnish new towels. This did not occur.
