Amilla Maldives

A perfect journey and stay with Amilla! Highly recommended! *Our butler Nappe is the best!

We truly enjoyed our time on the island. It is a beautiful place surrounded by lush trees, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The complementary snorkeling, spa and art activities was great in this resort. A special thank you to Saddam Hussain for his warm hospitality and welcoming attitude. We also want to thank the lovely staff who served us with kindness and made our stay even more enjoyable through their friendly conversations: Firdvas, Saronjini, Alex, Dewi, Shahbaj, Mansi, Shahid, Kawser, Artist Rakeb, Yaan and our butler, Hajer. We enjoyed the Maldivian night, as well as the tenderloin steak in Italian cuisine and Indian food. However, the Arabian night food was unfortunately not delicious at all. Thankfully, the team made up for it on another night with special food, which we appreciated. (Many thanks to chef Derrick) Also the pastries were delicious in the breakfast. We also really enjoyed the live band, their music, and the saxophone performance, which added a lovely atmosphere to the night. I highly recommend visiting the island for its greenery, calm vibes, and wonderful staff. The only downside is that the beach villas have rocks in front of them, so the sea there is not as crystal clear or easy to swim in as expected.

We stayed at Amilla Maldives Resort for 8 days, and it was truly an amazing experience. The island is spacious, surrounded by lush greenery and countless coconut trees. Thankfully, we didn’t encounter any caterpillars during our stay. The resort offers many complimentary activities, including snorkeling sessions, spa experiences, marine talks, and art classes. My favorite part was the two snorkeling trips — one around the house reef and the other to the Blue Hole. We saw grey sharks, reef sharks, turtles, and so many colorful fish. For me, the food and coffee were not exactly as expected, but the pastries, tenderloin steaks, and Maldivian and Indian dishes were absolutely delicious. The chefs were also very kind and always tried their best to fulfill our requests. Every night featured a live musical performance, which we really enjoyed. Most of the staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and we loved chatting with them. Special thanks to Firdvas, Saronjini, Alex, Dewi, Shahbaj, Mansi, Shahid, Kawser, Shetti, Artist Rakeb, and of course our butler Hajer The only downside for us was the rocks in front of the beach villas and the mosquitoes Shukran, Shukuriyaa, Dhanyavaad, Kanta Rahmet, Terima Kasih

Our stay at Amilla Resort was absolutely wonderful. Though we visited during the rainy season, we only had one heavy rainy day over our four and a half days on the island. The rest of the time was sunny, perfect for snorkeling. We stayed in a Reef Villa, which offers fantastic snorkeling access. We saw a rich variety of corals and tropical fish, and were even lucky enough to spot sharks and rays on occasion — it was incredible! Our butler Bella was incredibly thoughtful, attentive and friendly. He recommended amazing restaurants and fun island activities for us. Everything was perfect. Our family had an unforgettable holiday, and we will definitely come back again.

We spend an amazing week at Amilla in May 2026. We especially enjoyed the vast selection of different activities for all family members. We had especially chosen Amilla for a couple of main reasons: 1) the reputation of the kids club 2) the house reef accessible from the beach as well as the close by additional amazing under water experiences (Hanifaru Bay) 3) our high expectations to quality and service of a 5 star resort Amilla did not disappoint on any of these points. Especially the broad variety and amazing hospitality of the kids klub team was a great experience. We were also really fortunate to be able to join two breathtaking snorkling trips - one to see sea turtles and another to Hanifaru Bay where we did snorkeling with the impressive Manta Rays - two experiences we will never forget. All members of the Amilla staff we interacted with were super friendly, service minded and eager to contribute to our vacation being memorable.

I stayed for 7 nights in May. The staff were kind, as expected in most Maldivian resorts. We didn’t experience any caterpillars, ************* — the team mentioned it’s seasonal and currently under control. Pros: -Beautiful lush greenery -Large resort with bicycles and enjoyable riding paths -Stunning coral reefs and complimentary snorkeling -Beach villa bathroom were inside with glassy windows no need to carry your skincare products every time -Amazing live band from the Maldives singing in many languages Cons: -The Beach Pool Villa beach had many -rocks and wasn’t the best for swimming -The Arabic cuisine lacked authentic Middle Eastern flavor -We didn’t enjoy the coffee beans quality Special thanks to our butler Hajer, Saddam Hussein, Shahbaj, and funny Dewi, who always went the extra mile for us. Also thanks to Kawser, Shetti, Chef Gihan for the yummy sweets, the lovely Indian ladies Saronjini and Mansi, and to the most respectful and kindest person in the world, Firdvas.

We had a wonderful experience at Amilla, marking our fifth visit to the Maldives and our first stay at this resort. Our children, who are avid football fans, thoroughly enjoyed playing daily with the staff at the football ground. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and Hamza, the coach, was particularly kind, engaging with the kids and even presenting them with a special gift that brought them immense joy. The quality of food and service at the resort was impressive, with attentive and helpful restaurant staff. We appreciated the spaciousness and privacy of our villa, and our butler buddy was always available to assist with restaurant bookings and ensure we didn't miss any activities, checking in with us daily. His efforts made us feel valued, and we are certain we will return in the future.
